Someplace I could fortify for starters, and if I didn't actually panic at seeing the undead shambling through my neighborhood, try to get as much food/water as I could, and try to get as much weaponry as possible, beg/steal as much ammo as I could get and try to find others who haven't been bitten. (Okay, so its not foolproof and probably has a lot of holes in it..I'm working on it!)
I would gather as much supplies as I could and head to a small community up North. Where I may be able to clear out the zombies and fortify the area. In the army we had these things called HESCO baskets. They were a steel mesh a cage about 5x5x5 that you fill with dirt. They last forever and are stronger than shit. With a back hoe and enough barriers you could surround a small town in a couple days, you can also stack them on top of the another. Good thing is they fold up for easy transport too.
The best way is to stay mobile. If they want a meal they have to work for it. load up R.Vs with necessary supplies Fortify the outer shell with Solid steal! NO WINODOWS! and more importantly no CHAINSAWS! we could survive that way for a while. also according to haitian accounts of zombies if they taste salt or if you can heal them (bactine, hydrogen poroxide ect.) they will return to there graves. so a salt cannon on top of the transports!
Why no chainsaws? Just curious. I have a pretty large box trailer (no windows, would have to bolt the door though) with a generator and lots of guns and ammo. I would stock up on unperishable food & water, hook the trailer up to the F250 and stay moving. Someone would, of course have to drive the F250 but we could reinforce it first. Me and my children and whoever else (alive, not bitten) we come across would be safe inside the trailer. Hopefully, the person driving doesn't get it or we inside the trailer are fucked.
I plan to get to a building with some weapons in it. Maybe a gun store or a police department. When I get there I will blockade the doors and go upstairs if the place has them. I will look for survivors and weapon by day and hold down the fort at night. I just hope any survivors I find can use or have a gun. Also, I gotta make sure no one was bit too. I will bring alot of water/food and the guns in my gun cabinet. I would try to reserve alot of ammo too.
this may sound crazy but I would stay in the city fortofy a room at the top of a building[some were between 4-8 stories tall and fill it with supplies from shops and stuff
so i was thinking.. in the middle of the outbreak most of us wont have home gyms what are some work outs people can do to maintain there bodies with limited resources. any ideas ??
I took the clothes from the deceased guard, along with his weapon, a glock 19... my M4 was out, and 9mm is better then nothing. There was a lot of activity down in these corridors.
I walked for days with my buddy, Leo. He took this pic about 3 hours before he was dragged into an empty building and bitten. I killed all four zombies, but it was too late... he began to change and I had to put him down too.
*As i walked down the street, i saw a sign on a door saying (PURE ONE INSIDE, HELP)*
"There's a survivor in this house!' I scream, many of the survivors hear my scream. as i rip down the door, to my surprise, i didn't see a helpless peasent or a ...
