The Zombie Survival Guide
by Max Brooks. Has anyone read it? If so whats your thoughts on it? Personally I love it, has lots of helpful tips I hadn't thought about.

I got luck and found both bundled in a used book store , both are great books because they spend more time foucused on the survivors it would be like writing a book about the huicaine and spending most of the time writing about the rain and the wind. zombies are a force of nature the don't need to be understood , just like a flooding river sand bag it or get out of the way , if you can stop the zombie hoard then get out of the way and wait them out .

Amazon , barnes and knoble , even a good sized book store the are current and there is a card game , and some other things coming out this week based on Mr.Brooks books also a book is due out in January of 09 he is writing about zombie attacks in history. you can order any of his books online , I am going to get the new stuff on friday and I can hardly wait.

The Guide was well written, though Mr. Brooks was a bit hazy when it came to weaponry. World War Z was a very enjoyable book. Has anyone read A Day By Day Armageddon, By J.L. Bourne? I thought it was even better then World War Z.

Yeah I've read it, and i think every zombie enthusiast should. Its a great book, full of insite. Who knows? It may just save your life one day.

good book. Tired of people treating it as the only book on zombie however....
and Forrest I think I have, it is way better then WWZ. Bourne is a master of the page.

i've read the guide and wwz. max brooks is a genius. i'm about halfway through the walking dead series by rober kirkman. equally amazing. i've also started the fictional series by david welllington. the first installment is called monster island. soon to follow in the trilogy are monster nation and monster planet. so far it's been a good and entertaining read. i would recommend this newer series to anyone who hasnt heard of it yet.

I took the clothes from the deceased guard, along with his weapon, a glock 19... my M4 was out, and 9mm is better then nothing. There was a lot of activity down in these corridors.
eventually I found veggitation again, and a bunker that led to this base... where I was statoned before the outbreak.
I walked for days with my buddy, Leo. He took this pic about 3 hours before he was dragged into an empty building and bitten. I killed all four zombies, but it was too late... he began to change and I had to put him down too.
