I know that these discussions might seem to be getting old, but if you had 3 objects (don't second guess yourself, just pick 3, it doesn't matter what size it is), which would they be? (in order to…Continue

There is a lost zombie facebook page, and I have also created a Zombie survival Society group hope to see you there
Great idea, i actually came to this site thinking it was a role playing site.
I have made a couple of blogs on my page.
I thought some time ago that one of the reasons this site is on its way out is that social networkings sites have really taken off and people be lazy will just join a facebook group (etc) instead of a site such as this?
Maybe we should have a facebook group>
ANYWAY... in real life i am a married farther of two and a full time carer for family members with disabilities which limits my time to keep fit ;o(
So, what else can we do with this group? Role playing? Perhaps posting status updates, just for the hell of it. Fifteen members, four have commented in the past four months, so maybe it'd bring some life back.
Until we figure that out, my real life status update is that I'm currently attending training at Ft. Gordon, GA. I have even less opportunity to prep for survival here other than additional PT.
That gives me an idea!
@David Davenport What are you doing to prepare yourself physically for the zombie apocolypse? Anyone else, feel free to answer with your own preparations.
Until next time gentlemen, stay frosty.
I'm Dave and I live in Yorkshire in the UK nice to have a new member joining us
Hi Rik welcome to the group and thanks for the info
First off i wish you well for your training, i have a lot of respect for past and present military personal.
i like the idea of this Charles, so here goes...
This is not so much a criticism more a warning. Avoid the wire saw, i mean they are great in an absolute emergency, but a folding saw from a garden centre / DIY store is much better.
This is because if wire snaps its not much use but if the blade breaks on a folding saw it can be replaced or it can be used as a stabbing weapon or spear.
If you want something like a wire saw go for a the chain saw style ones they are better but still not as good as a folding saw.
Tinder boxs are great mine has a couple of tampons, vaseline cotton balls, lighter, waxed matches and flint with steel.
Not heard of hydra-gel packs?
So true man. Life sucks sometimes. I'll be in Georgia for the next four months for military training.
So, anyone building a B.o.B? If so, let's hear what you've got so far, and what you want to add to that.
As for me, I have a few actual bags to use, but I haven't actually put my kit together. I have a few firearms, a tomahawk, and some knives, a little bit of military equipment, but I would really like a tinderbox, a few MRE's, a nice first aid kit, a wire saw, and a few hydra-gel packs. Anybody have any good ideas? Criticisms? Comments? Anything?
