Why is it that everyone thinks that your just going to go to your local gunstore and pick up some guns and ammo. Guns which by the way you most likely have no expierence with except for videogames. I knew a guy who owned a gunshop and I asked him what would he do if the shit hit the fan. He told me that they would gather as much of the guns and ammo and they would load it on their trucks, anything they couldnt take with them would probaly be destroyed. He also said he might think of burning the place down after they got what they need out of the store so nothing that was left in the store could be used. So Cowboy when you head to your local gunstore you'll probaly run into two scenarios. 1. The store is burned or burning  down and anything that was left inside is useless. 2. You'll get shot trying to steal guns while they are in the process of loading guns into their trucks.

 

My suggestion to you is that you buy a gun now rifle, shotgun, handgun whatever you feel comfortable with and pratice with it , also purchase a large amount of ammo for you gun that way you wont have to head down to your local gunshop and get shot trying to steal guns and ammo.

Video games, you can walk through Vegas and pick up any weapon you can dream of on the street as you're swarmed.

Thats where your wrong Zombie Hunter 223 I live in the country side and have hunted all my life. I've also been in a Marine ROTC program for 3 years that has had me trained in Military Rifles such as M4's, M240's etc. I also have a small arsenal at my house that consist of a 3 handguns, 3 bolt action rifles, 1 semi automatic rifle, and 2 shotguns. The gun store is only a means of secondary ammunition and weaponry, we would be fine without, its only meant to discourage the curious or deal with hordes. Thank you and have a nice day.

Sorry you made it sound like you didnt have any firearms or ammo. If you and your friends are armed then stay away from gun shops, if the owners see you and your friends strolling up to the store with your guns out they will probaly assume the worst and start shooting at you no matter who you are. If you can stay inside for 2 weeks without any problems then that greatly increases your chance of survival. The longer you stay outside running around looking for stuff the greater the risk you run of getting hurt or worse.

 

Also stay away from people you dont really know like random females. Not only will they probaly cause problems later on, it will be one extra mouth to feed.

READ THIS FIRST: If you have any helpful advice to better this plan then by all means tell me

Names Floyd and still senior in highschool. First plan is always for the worst possible situation. So if it happens during the middle of a school day a group consisting of myself and 4 others (We all Drive Pickups). A pick-up is good. Depending on others is not. You will likely be separated. Have a meeting point away from where other people will gather. Set a time limit for how long anyone waits before bugging out. You may end up with more people tagging along then you think. FYI, Some of your teachers know about Zombies and survival. That crazy science teacher who likes to spend his free-time in the observatory, yeah that guy, he'll likely see it coming.  

We all will proceed to a gunstore on the outskirts of town less than 10 minutes away. The store has all types of Weaponry ranging from Rifles, Pistols, Automatic Rifles, Submachine Guns, and even a Barret 50. Sniper Rifle. Zombie Hunter 223 is dead on. If you don't have it now dont expect to get it once the SHTF. You're looking for guns and the people working at the store already have them. That leaves you SOL. You can carry the 50. You can carry the ammo for it too. Well you can carry the gun and ammo if you find one. I can get one because I have a federal firearms license. They don't just spring up on gun store shelves.

Once we have protection Myself and Robert will go to the local hardware store and grab supplies like wood boards, sheet metal, hammers and nails, and black paint to cover windows with (very useful). Again, if you don't have it don't expect it to fall in your hands.

Tyler, BJ, and Jerin will go to the Grocery Store and grab as much Non-Perishable Items like canned food and Water. Again, if you don't have it don't expect it to fall in your hands.

Once we have all essentials we'll meet at the Community Center at the edge of town and see who made it and what we have to work with. You and everyone else will be meeting at the Community Center, the hospital, the schools, the police stations and the National Guard Armory. They will being their infected family members and friends with them. Not a good idea.

 

Family and friends will be contacted in between objectives. The Objective had better be to get out of the populated area as fast as humanly possible.

 

After rendevouing with each other we escort family's to Friends house far out of town and heavily surrounded by Forest. It is easy to barricade as they have ALOT of Furiniture and it can hold as least 6 families.

 

If we can we'll grab females we like to keep company and keep up from going insane. (Dont judge me)

 

If you survive long enough to slow down to look at females, what makes you so sure they want to go with you?
