Share 'What about your family/friends?'

I've been on these forums for a while now, and have yet to see this question asked: What would you do if someone that you were close to (emotionaly) became infected with the Z-virus? Someone that was family perhaps? Or a spouse? Even just a close friend? Would you be able to kill them? Think about this before answering.
