Getting Started

Lost Zombies is a social network whose goal is to create the world’s first community generated zombie documentary. As a member of Lost Zombies you get your own profile page, which you can personalize to your liking. You are also able to contribute to forum and chat conversations as well as contribute photos, videos and blog posts which may be used in the documentary. As a member of Lost Zombies you choose your level of involvement. How to get started:

1. Begin by signing up here. Sign up is free, fast and easy.

2. Once you’ve signed up you’ll be able to personalize your Lost Zombie profile with your unique Username and Profile Photo.

3. You are now able to take part in any and all of Lost Zombies features: you can chat, post on the forum, create or join a group and submit content.

4. To submit a video or photo roll over the Submissions tab on the navigation bar and select either Videos or Photos. On the upper right hand side the videos or photos page you’ll see an “+Add” link. Select that link and follow the onscreen instructions.

Once Lost Zombies reaches its goal of receiving 10,000 photos and 1,000 videos we will evaluate all of the submissions and choose the ones we’d like to include in the documentary. If you content is chosen, we will contact you and discuss next steps. Your content will never be used with out your permission and you will always retain rights to your content submissions.

A. Proof! We want you to send post any videos, pictures, audio files or any other evidence you have that proves zombies exist.

Q. What if I don't have any proof?
A. We accept reenactments. Get to work!

Q. What do you plan to do with the proof you get?
A. We plan to create the world’s first Community Generated Zombie Documentary.

Q. Holy Crap, a Community Generated Zombie Documentary, that's awesome! When do I find out if my proof has been included in the finished documentary?
A. All of the submitted proof will be approved and showcased on this site. Once we've accumulated enough submissions we'll contact the submitters who's proof we'd like to use and let them know we our plans.

Q. How do I submit my proof?
A. Create a profile on the Lost Zombies site. Once you are a registered user you'll be able to submit videos and picture files as well as create blog entries and take part in forums and discussions.

Q. Okay be honest, there is no Zombie outbreak is there?
A. It's people like you that ruin Christmas for everyone.

Q. Seriously, what is this site all about?
A. This site asks you to suspend your disbelief and behave as though zombies are real.

Q. Do you really intend to make a documentary with the content users submit?
A. Absolutely! We intend to create a Community Generated Mock Zombie Documentary.

Q. That's actually pretty cool, what are you going to do with the movie when it's done?
A. Thanks! We think it would be awesome to enter the finished movie to films festivals and see what happens.

A. Nope! Any content you submit belongs to you. If we decide we want to use your content in the Community Generated Mock Zombie Documentary we'll contact you and get your permission.
