Fiberglass over auto gasket fabric with a couple of layers of steel window screen. It's much lighter than ballistic armor, and weighs less than paint ball armor. It has the advantage of being able to be sprayed down with bleach solution. I am concerned with something that will protect me from blitz attacks, splatter, and cast off, and still allow me to run over distance and maneuver at full speed. Unfortunately I have a lot of experience with running in ballistic armor and it sucks. I am sure chain mail and leather would work well, but how do you clean it, or run in it without overheating? Not telling anybody what to do just saying what works for me within the limits of the world we are presented with.

looks like it would be a little prone to you over heating in it. I personally think chain mail or leather would do the trick. Your not fighting lions. The mask is pretty damn good though :D
