No, that's not what it was made out of at all. The parts that are red are red because they have smudges of blood on them, and some stippling from the makeup I used.

Platisil silicon? Fancy! Have any hocking for it? You can blend it in before you apply it - that way the bits that aren't covered with stage blood will be skin tone, and not read as dried rubber. Try www.brickintheyard.com, if that's not already where you get your stuff from.
