Comment by Sean Palmer on April 2, 2012 at 12:23pm I should clarify. This is my car kit. It sits in the trunk of my car next to a case of water and my field boots. There is also my store bought roadside emergency kit in there and a collapsible entrenching tool as well. I never seem to be more than about 300 feet from it. Home or at work...
My BOB proper is still being put together. We've been working on a one item per pay period plan and still have a way to go. I can tell you this though... light won't be a problem. Our egress plan involves getting to a family farm, here in North Dakota... A relatively short drive, or a 3 day trek on foot.
