9mm rifle is the way to go on short range(<100 yards). Ya' can through a lot of lead and still keep the gun on target. Like a .223 but much less expensive ammo. I have the Kel-Tec 9mm rifle that folds. Fits under the car seat or in briefcase/backpack, etc. Takes Glock mags. Find them off any dead cop the zombies have finished eating... I have several 32 round mags for run & gun times.

I couldn't turn down a free gun. Plus I had a lot of 9mm rounds left over from a few years back. The gun is very tough. a good utilitarian piece for a good price. Very good price. My heart is with the 45 colt though. That's what I'm set up to load and reload. There are deals out there for rifles and shotguns depending on what you're after. Some folks might have a gun in their closet that doesn't work and all it needs is a part or two. worth looking into. The Hi Pointe is a stout gun. I wouldn't be afraid to knock someone in the jaw with the butt. I can strap it to the ATV and go stalking ground hogs and not worry about it getting banged around a bit.

AHA! I've seen these in the original stock and I've heard that they are a real good deal and dependable. I got suckered into my CX4 for $600 but they jumped in price. I'm still not sure if I am going to keep it as I have little need for a 9mm but the stock is ideal for a tactical 9mm carbine. The Stock you used must have been modeled after the CX4 Stock...nice gun man! I have heard great things about those. I agree that the stock-stock (lol) is a bit ugly...

No it takes only Hi Point mags. A 10 round comes with it and another company makes a 15 round. The stock is made by a different company too. The original stock really sucks. I've included a pic of what they look like stock. They are rather inexpensive ($180+/-) but you get a decent bang for the buck. They are made in the US. I took off the iron sights and installed a red dot. It's decent up to 60 or 70 yards. I got it for free and put about $160 into it. I did all the work myself. Everything was drop in and shoot. YouTube has some video on them.

This looks exactly like the Beretta CX4 9mm carbine with the exception of the upper reciever. Does it take the 92fs clip?
