That's a solid theory on the iron site's i don't mind the holographic sites but haven't looked into the energy usage on em

Nope. I'm partial to iron sites. I don't want a whole lot hanging off the rifle either. Plus the less battery usage the better. Batts can be in short supply in a SHTF.
