Survival is the only option.

October 23rd, 2008: We're down to just a few now- bravery gets you nowhere with zombies. Transmissions have been impossible, our only goal has been finding shelter and food each night. We can't stay in one place too long, they always know. We're trying to get out of the city to my family's land- it's only about half an hour's drive from here but we'll have to make the journey on foot. One day at a time.

September 19th, 2008: I don't know how but they got in. They must have piled enough on each other to climb up. We lost half of our crew. We're made it to the roof of a building downtown. I think we're safe here for the night. I don't have time to explain more, we need to reinforce all the barricades and set watchmen before bed.

September 14, 2008: My apartment building is secure.. for now. We broke down the stairs, everyone is on the second level now. They can't reach us, but it doesn't stop them from trying. Their moans make it difficult to sleep. At least two people from our camp keep watch at all times, gun shots echo through my ears. We will keep fighting, this is not the end.
