We're still going through the design stuff, but we pitched it today and got the green light to make it so I'm fuckin psyched.Blogspot: http://gnomicidalGames.blogspot.comMyspace: www.myspace.com/gnomicidalGamesTwitter: GnomicidalGamesEverything is pretty rough looking at the moment, but…See More

About Me...
Right, so now that I've found a bit of spare time I'll see about getting some stuff in this box.

I suppose it's best to start with the basic things, where I'm from, what I do, and so on and so forth, but before I get started with that, a public service announcement:

*PSA*
Teleporting telepathic time traveling velociraptors are no laughing matter. Should you encounter a teleporting telepathic velociraptor that has traveled here from the prehistoric era do not try to run. These creatures do not hunt or travel alone. So where there is one, there are more waiting nearby to ambush and then devour you. It is likely that, if you should find yourself in this situation, you are already dead. The best thing you can do is attempt to phone authorities so as to notify them of the raptors. This will allow them time to ready an anti-raptor strike force to deal the the issue. Thank you and good luck.
*End PSA*

Now that that's out of the way I'll get on with the business at hand.

I'm a student at Fullsail in Orlando, FL. I'm studying game design. It's fun but it's lots of work. I spend about 40 hours a week in class and a good bit of the rest of my time doing work for class.

Game design was really the only thing I wanted to do as a kid. I mean really, in how many other jobs do you end up with such a cool end product. That said it's still a fuck-ton of work. If you're curious about the measurement of a fuckton; it's the amount of effort required to hump an object weighing one metric ton a distance of 1 mile across a level surface.

I'm originally from Missouri, and man do I despise that place. Everything shuts down at 9PM, and damn near all the people are assholes. Not all the people, but close enough. I really only go back there for the holidays. Even then I'm only there for a weekend or two and can't wait to get away again.

In the scruffy little bit of time that I've still got to relax I like to play games(surprise!) and read or watch movies. I don't really watch TV. So if anybody is ever inclined to ask me "Hey did you see 'Insert Show' last night?" I'll probably say "yes" and then see how long I can get by without their noticing that I'm lying. If it takes them a while I'll just start making up bit's about the show to see if they'll go along with me.

I'm currently reading through the wheel of time series by Robert Jordan again. I'm up to The Fires of Heaven. I'm also reading Tolkien's The Similarion, Ayn Rynd's Atlas Shrugged, The Highway Man by R.A. Salvator, and some book I found for 3 bucks about Wolverine. I'll probably never finish Atlas Shrugged. I've been "reading" it forever now, but I always find something more interesting before I can really get into it. I never have to time to really get into anything these days.

I listen to all kinds of music. Provided that something is neither rap nor country, there is a very good chance that I'll enjoy it. I'm not entirely keen on some of the modern rock with the screaming and screeching, but I'm not completely repulsed by it. Not a huge fan of death metal either.

I've written something of a small book here, so if you want to know anything else, you're going to have to ask about it. I don't really think anybody is going to get to this point in things. I mean, really, that's a fucking wall of text.

probably working on stuff. Seems I'm always working on stuff here lately

Deterioration Chapter 1: Extra Curriculars

"Hello?" I called, seemingly to myself, into the empty expanse. The rain on the far window was the only reply I received. Then, like a distorted echo of my own greeting, came a faint moan from behind the bleachers near the wall.

I wasn't sure I'd heard anything at first, but then it came again. The same distant moan. It was high and soft. I was pretty sure it was a girl, but then with high school kids it's tricky to tell sometimes.

Taking a few steps further into the… Continue

No were not underwater. Lot of powerlines knocked down, trees were in the road but most of thats been cleared up. Most of houston and the outlying suburbs are still without power. (thats the big pain in the ass.) Most of the gas stations are dry. Ive been at work the whole time so I survived it. Hows everything in your neck of the woods?
