About Me...
People call me Steven Beach, whether that's my real name, I will never know. I'm a recent graduate of Columbia College of Chicago with a BA in Film and Video with a concentration in screenwriting. I'm a frightener. I love to scare people and it's pretty easy to see that horror is the heart and joy of my life.

Although I have a degree in screenwriting I'm pursuing a career in video game writing and video game design because horror video games kick ass and I feel that fear and dread can be conveyed more effectively through an immersive game over an immersive film. I also write a bit of short fiction and host a blog site with two others: http://blogs.vvv-gaming.com/. Dark Chaos is what I write under and I mainly tackle horror themed video games and the video game culture.

I'm a zombie fanatic, my friends think I'm crazy most of the time. I don't see why, because I feel it's perfectly logical to go up to a random stranger and in all seriousness ask them what their zombie survival plan is. If the zombie apocalypse actually did happen I think it would be a benefit to the world because it will become survival of the fittest and a lot of these dumb American's we have here will be wiped out rather quickly.

I've always wanted to be a zombie extra in some high production film. I came close once, when I working for a film company out here in Chicago that was producing a zombie film, that after second glance, featured cardboard characters and many cliche zombie moments. Needles to say we dropped the project and it still hasn't been made, shame.

Of course I can go on and on and on and on about myself, but I think I've bored you all enough and if you've gotten this far, congratulations, here's a cookie!
