How do we know that the current virus is the final stage of its evolution? Do things actually ever stop evolving? In its current state, its only communicable through the saliva or bodily fluids of an infected individual. Given time and maybe even a host with a different blood makeup (diabetes, hemophillia, HIV, sicle cell enemia etc), could it be possible that the virus could mutate further?
