They bleed because there blood is still in them but if you ever seen resident evil there blood has lil chunks in it when there a zombie

Today, I discovered that the Neighbor Is a Zombie. I quickly Disposed of the ghoul and burned the body. While trying to find the Zombie that bit him, I found a large pile of bones on the floor. Each was carefully picked clean and colored slightly yellow. It has taken quite awhile for the virus to come out to where I live. Still tryin' to stay alive....

there is still cquagulatd blood in the vains of dead bodies, shooting a zombie woul result in that to spray from there bodies but they wouldn't bleed from the wound
