What is your ideal gear for tackling the zombie threat?

It starts with a outbreak, a cover up, and a quarantine. The next thing that happens is that major transportation hubs start showing signs of outbreaks. The media puts up stories, but is it the truth

- About Me...
- My eyes opened and I felt so cold, my muscles were stiff from lying in the car for so long... as I looked around to get my bearings, I saw that the windows were frosted over and it looked like the sun was just rising. I tried starting the car, but the ignition wouldn't even make a sound, must have been here for longer than I thought. So hungry, and thirsty... The car door creaked as I opened it, the ground had a fresh dusting of snow on it, looked pretty.
I started to warm up as I walk, half shuffle down the street, it looks like a warzone, half the buildings I see are charred and it looks like looters have hit the city, what is going on? It is quiet except for the occasional caw of the crows... I sure hope I am not alone here, kinda creepy.
12 days later...
Having found the Peoples Army, I now have a powerful ally against this nightmare. I still wretch at the smell of those creatures, they don't even look human anymore. I ask my new found komradz for a cigarette, its not like it matters if those kill me anymore.
