I started writing a story about a zombie outbreak. Just thought I should share it. Please tell me if i should make any improvements or anything. Also your opinion. Here it is:

I think i just might go crazy! This whole situation has been so surreal, that i believe my mind is trying to say "it isn't true, this isn't real." And the thing is, i'm starting to fall for my own mind's tricks. My family are all starting to stare, and laugh. If you are reading this and are expecting to read about me killing a zombie with electricity, I am terribly sorry. Besides, even though this is a time of crisis, even I wouldn't revert to such a cliche pun. This post, however, is about how well i am doing. My Aunt has a very rocky beach at the end of her street. Once in a while I like to walk from my house to the beach, which is about a quarter mile walk. Four days ago, i was bored after school, and decided to take a nice stroll along the beach. Once i arrived, i noticed an odd stench, and not the typical dead fish smell. Yep, rhode island is deffitely weird. Ya know for such a tiny state, there a lot of people (and zombies) here. Its so crowded you have to look everywhere you turn. How ever, it can also mean that things here are easily accssible. Like weapons, cars, and food supplies (thank you Stop and Shop!). It even gives off a very desolate, small town kinda vibe, which (for me any way) can be sheer torture to the mind. Things are going well, and the house is holding up, so i guess im lucky.
