Well I'm back for now. I went up to the roof and searched the building for an escape route. The roof looks like a great place to farm. Very empty. Just stairs leading up to there. Perfect place to grow plants, and catch water when it rains. I went back down to search the building for an escape route if needed. I found one. It took a half hour though. Up in an apartment building right now with some survivors. I heard on the HAM radio as we were driving to look for the tall building with an American flag hanging off the balcony. Looks safe. Don't know if I can trust these people yet. They look nice enough. Feed well too. They have a lot of supplies too. Enough to last through the winter. We're on the top floor and have roof access.
