I think there should be zombie animals,well bigger than dogs cause anything smaller is going to die fast

I know that in most of the zombie movies the animals are nowwhere to be found so are they running away or have they been devoured? I mean I know in the Resident Evil Movies they have only eaten dogs but no cats and horses or ferrets and stuff like that. But do they eat animals?

a chainsaw. Its too loud and it may due damage for a while but once youre out of gas its bad and then you got a bulky machine in your hands and it would have attracted more to your location
