About Me...
I'm a mother of two teenage daughters. I would definitely take them with me in the event of an outbreak and do whatever is necessary to make sure they survive, even it if it means my own death. They've watched all the "zombie flicks" with me and read the Zombie Survival Guide. I am pretty sure they could handle themselves. Some think I'm nuts, but I truly believe in zombies. They're out there, although I've never encountered any....yet.

Pretty much the same. My wife just got out of the hospital saturday. She's diabetic and on at home dialysis because her kidneys are at 15% working capacity. She has an infection in her cathater site and it drove her blood sugar up to 900 (seriously).
On a brighter note, what is your new job? Sorry to hear about your sinus/throat infection. I get sinus infections every so often. to me the worse part about them is you constantly smell the infection. Yech!
I've read WWZ. Good book. You can tell Brooks researched the hell out of it.
I got my kids ready for school. My son (10) is ready to go back. He's in summer school now. My daughter (5) goes into kindergarden. She's so excited! She's been bugging me for about three weeks about when she starts school. "Do I go to school tomorrow?" "When does school start?" It's adorible.
