I knew I shouldn't have messed with it. The body, I mean. You can never be too careful right? But a body in the creek by my house?!? My dog Scout is going crazy! I don't think she want's me to get any closer to it.

Something's up. I knew about the rising from what I saw on television. That is to say, before transmission was cut. They speculated about the dead coming to life although experts (ha, on what exactly?) said that was not really what was happening. And after I found that... well... what was left of Bill's daughter next door, I'm betting the experts are wrong.

One or two of these things, hell I guess I should call them zombies, one or two of these things find their way around my house every day or so. I've secured my house with what I could, but they still find a way in. Well, some of them anyway. I've got my camera and I still have internet, so I'll try to post what I see when I can. I don't want to go anywhere yet. Honestly... too scared to try.

I've continued this in my blog...

I was caught off guard yesterday. After months of survival in this house, one got in while I was sleeping. My grandmother was living with us. She was bed-ridden and on oxygen support before passing away 6 months ago. We never emptied her room. I was sleeping there when I was attacked. I've gotten sick from that green shit by my house. I don't think it's the only one. I've seen the news... that is, before the stations went out. I have a short wave radio, but that doesn't always come in clear.

Not really Northern England - I live in the East Midlands so, well, a bit closer to the middle really! :)

So far no limbs or digits have fallen off, so I'm counting myself lucky...but if it gets any colder I'm done for!
