- While out riding my horses in Northern California I noticed an adult huddled around a small child. The child was screaming saying "Dad whats wrong with you your hurting me." I immediatly jumped off my horse to find out what was going on. The "man" then looked up at me and thats when I saw the blood dripping from his mouth. The child was stark white her eyes rolled up behind her head. I yelled at the man asking him "What in the hell are you doing?" I pulled at my 44 mag that I always carry with him in case of a run in with a mountian lion, and shoot the man in the head. I then ran to the little girl to see if she was evn alive. I held her in my arms confused on what had just transpired. I started to stoke her blonde blood matted hair when she jumped up and started grawling at me screaming something I couldn't understand. I jumped up as well in complete shock. I then asked her if she was ok. She then sprinted for me. Not knowing what to do I was able to hold her at bay with my arm holding her head and the other one still holding on to my 44 mag. At about that time I heard the same strange noises from the girl also from the woods behind me, almost all around me. Then I say at least five which used to be humans running for me. I then shoot at the figures then shoot the creature how used to be a little girl in the head and jumped on my horse. We rode for what seemed like for ever. Once I reach my home I got my little ones together, not knowing were my husband was at grabbed the batter charged radio and headed for the hills. Once we arrived at an old family cabin I turned on the radio to see if anything could help me discover what was going on. Thats when I heard about the outbreak. At the time it had taken over half the town, and listeners were erged to stay indoors and look them. That day we listened to the radio all night reports everywhere says the bits were causing the virus to spead and to check all who was in your home. Sometimes depending on the size of the infection it could take days for the person to show symtoms. Sometime after midnight the radio station appeared to be attacked. With the sound of screams and shoots fired and objects being thrown all over. Shortly there after there was nothing but dead air. Ever since we have been hiding out here hoping that we are far enough out not to attrack attention. But how knows how long this will last with our supplies soon to be out we are going to have to venture out for food. I have no idea were my husband is, or any other family members are. I just pray if they have been taken that they have forgotten about this place.
