Two more fights last night. The first one over some sports video game - not over the game itself, you see, but over who one. One of the guys said the other one was cheating, while the one accused of cheating accused the other one of being a child. They got into pretty rough and now the second guy has a black eye. And all this over a fucking game of football. I find it hard to believe. These are the same guys who kept me up at nights with the incessant yelling and cheering as they played their… Continue

Cashews & Vodka

Another fight over food today, this one over a can of cashews. A can of fucking cashews. Does anybody even remember how cheap those things were? Two, maybe three dollars? Hell, they weren't even brand-name ones, just some generic-brand cashews from Wal-Mart or Giant. Are they even that important to our food stockpiles? I mean, I can understand the bigger things, like the breads, the meats, the vegetables, the fruits, and the like, but a can of cashews?

The power is beginning to give all over, and we can see that most of the freshmen dorms are out. Nothing live over there. We saw smoke - maybe someone decided to make a… Continue

God, save me: I was only 22.

This will serve as my first post.

I suppose it actually started fifteen days ago - at least, that was the first time NPR reported the murders and the mutilations of the bodies. I mentioned it to my classmates and some friends, even family, but everyone seemed out of the loop. The country's in the middle of a recession - can it still be in a recession? - and nobody cares about some people getting killed and mutilated. Funny, too, because if it wasn't for that Senator's death and all… Continue

Well I keep getting wall posts from people I don't know, but other than that I haven't really had time to do anything with this site. I have been thinking about my zombie story though, and will hopefully post it soon.
