everyone talks about the Ar or M16, M1, M2 etc. but NOW a days these are inpossible to come by, i dont know about you but prices here in texas have risen and there NEVER any on the shelf. and finding .223 or 7.62.... forget it. i agree thats a fin...
I agree, You can set up a Ruger 10/22 or Remington 597 for under $200.00. Plus both models offer 30 round bananna clips and spare magazines are relatively cheap.. A brick of Remington thunderbolt ammo is only $15! Once you put a scope on it yout set.
except a good bushmaster will run you $1,400.00!!! a Ruger 10/22 is $189.99 and a scope for a .22 is good after $50. plus i can buy a 500 round brick for 15$
But i agree with you. a .223 is the best

- Merely a zombie enthusist, I am prepared to help anyone chronical zombie-related events. While not hoping for an outbreak, I scouring the nearby areas for any clues that would lead to footage.
- Weapon of choice for fighting zombies...
- The .22 LR Golden Boy. With 16 rounds (plus one in the chamber) it makes an effective and deadly weapon. While .22 rifles are mainly used for small game they are notourious for "spinning" in the body, causing massive internal damage, perfect for head shots.

Zombie poem
This is my first poem, be gentle.
Why now baby do you scream?
I walk as if in some crazy dream.
Where life does slow and flesh does rot,
I should have died but I did not.
I see you there high and safe,
while we below know your fate.
I wish to cry, I wish to stop
But the hunger allows it not.
So instead of protecting you,
I'll just bite and pursue.
The gun you hold in your hand,
will not stop us as we roam the land.

I took the clothes from the deceased guard, along with his weapon, a glock 19... my M4 was out, and 9mm is better then nothing. There was a lot of activity down in these corridors.
eventually I found veggitation again, and a bunker that led to this base... where I was statoned before the outbreak.
I walked for days with my buddy, Leo. He took this pic about 3 hours before he was dragged into an empty building and bitten. I killed all four zombies, but it was too late... he began to change and I had to put him down too.

hokay so you have the high ground and your low on ammo you take your good old pal mr pipe bomb and light him and throw him but he didnt do the damage you wanted what could you have done to do a little more damage.

i agree with most of what you said and id like to see bolt action rifles added cause unless your extremly practiced with it but the ak and the m16 id like taken off this list if you were not in the army or military i would suggest getting on googl...
