- About Me...
- I have been trying to survive this situation now since the overwhelming breakout of the virus here in the UK. I am alone after losing my wife to the virus and living in my small two bedroomed house about ten miles from Southampton on the edge of The New Forest. My doors are all locked and bolted. The downstairs is blocked out and I have been reduced to living upstairs to lessen the intersest of the dead which frequent the outside to a greater or lesser degree all the time. I make fairly regular sorties out, when possible, to search for what supplies I can scrape together. Certain supermarkets are still holding tinned goods and hardware that I can use, but increasingly things are getting less and less. The dead are always there and always a major threat. I can never afford to let my guard down for a second, although at times, it can be very easy to become complacent to the situation. I am just so tired at the best of times. I am simply trying to hang in there, but for what future, I do not know...... I am writing this in the hope that someone out there who is still alive and kicking will see this and get back to me. I just need to talk with some other living soul...Am I the last person alive here??? It feels that way....I will try to write more soon....

- I have not been able to get hold of any fire power, so I tend to use what tools I have to hand. I have managed to pick up axes and and other sharp heavy implements. A good heavy baseball bat I find is invaluable sometimes just to give me a quick getaway.
