After a short rest I rose to look over the railing of the tree house. Below a couple more deadies had joined the two that had chased me into the backyard. My feet pounded against the pavement as I sprinted into the neighbors yard. I slowed my pace to a mere tiptoe as I crept to the back of the house. The TV fills the room with spasms of light as I flipped through the channels. Each one the same as the last. Nothing but news, clearly something important if all normal shows have been over-run by each news team trying to fill me in on the "latest national security update".
