I would like to update my entry on this forum, I have posted once before but looking back... I don't know what the hell I was thinking.

sawn off shot gun for absolute emergencies but to be honest i don't like the idea of a gun.. As a survivor i would much prefer a melee weapon with dual usage - i wouldn't be out to get the zombies and would never engage them or try…

Everyone should have a long, a short, and a melee weapon.
If I had the choice, I'd have all three carry a rifles and/or carbine that use the same ammo and mags for their primary. I prefer the M4/AR platform.

Well some friends and i plan on making a zombie movie, we have vary limeted resources and vary little area to do the movie in so we plan on doing the vary best we can. I don't plan on trying to submit this as part of the documentary at any point becuase i want it to be for the sole purpose of entertainment. (not that i expect it to be chosen)

Renfire said… - Well. Interesting.. I would recommend getting a decent amount of rope. and A LOT of fishing wire. Maybe a can, or windchimes. when outside camping, set up a tent, have the rope form a perimeter, hang the can from it above your sleeping place rigged to fall if the rope is tampered with, the more cans, the more noise you can make and the louder the alert naturally. The windchimes and fishing wire are used when indoors. Same system, except when tripped it jiggles the windchimes, if its human, they will think it was a draft. Gasoline is also an imperitive. 1 million uses for that in such times. Napalm, Gas, Flamable, Explosive, you get the picture. And Im sure you see other ways to use both rope and fishing wire, but those are some of the more creative. Maybe invest in bungie cord. invest in a good melee weapon that serves more than one purpose, preferably something blunt cause bone isnt that hard to break with the flesh decaying about it and its quiet...er... Making Workz bombs could help tooif you have the materials. and dont forget some sort of sustinance. I will share more after I get more replies.
