It was the middle of the night when it happened/ My husband and I were sleeping. I heard a pounding on my bedroom door. I am a light sleeper..I got out of bed, turned on the light and opened the door. It was my mother standing there with a distant look on her face. There was blood everywhere. I asked her what had happened but she didn't answer. I woke up my husband . He told my mom to lie down and he would call an ambulance. No dial tone. I walked down the hall to check on my boys. They were sleeping still. I noticed a trail of blood going towards my mothers room. I opened her door and there on the bed was her boyfriend, covered in blood. My first instinct was to scream. Frankie, my husband, Came running. He gagged and turned away. Then we heard my mother moaning. He told me to go in the room with the boys and I did. I heard muffled screams and pounding.....He came into the boys room and he was covered in blood. He told me my mother had turned into a zombie and had her boyfriend. I told him it wasn't true. Then he told me he had to kill her.
