Thanksgiving has come and one thing we're all thankful for is that the power is still on and other than the single attack a while back, all has been quiet. Buck was able to shoot a wild turkey yesterday, so we had a complete meal with all the trimmings, we even opened a couple bottles of wine.

Today marked the Marine Corps 232nd birthday. Most of us here served together in the Corps, so it was only fitting that we celebrate. The colors were raised on the flagpole and Sasha even baked a cake and we held a ceremony after dinner, passing the first pieces out to the oldest and youngest Marines respectively.
