ammunition shortages... prices sky rocket!
Were going to have to come up with another means of defense. After the ammo is gone a mellee weapon is fine but in a group of five or more zombies your risk of being bitten while in hand to hand combat is to great. I've come up with some longer range homemade weaponry. For example a converted pellet rifle(don't laugh) that shoots nails, screws, wooden splinters. All in which can penetrate the skull.
