The diary of David Porter

Yesterday I did my first written submission. I posted it at the scrap book group. I fear it somehow goes under there. That's why I do a blog post as well. The whole story is in the scrap book submission thread, page 12 and 13.January 17th, 2009Today I buried my father in the back yard. After all the horrid occurrences of the last weeks and the probably weighty discovery I made, I now begin this diary.January 18thMy personal horror story begun in 1983 when I was 10 years old. First some notes about my submission. It has three parts. The diary of David Porter a guy from England submitted via internet to LZ (2009). A reminiscence of Dr. Gräber written on a typewriter (1982). A German classified document; typewriter…

Oops, I have not seen this reply yet. Well, it helps answering the question but not much my story which has a worked out explanation of the virus' origin now ;-( All right, then I have to put in some contradictions leaving the reader in…

Theoretically, the virus is explained in the storyline. What I think you're refering to is the flu. I think that creating a back story for why the flu became so powerful and unstoppable may feed the creativity of the future.

I have some old typewriters and an old matrix printer. Those fonts would fit snugly in my story and they are 100% authentic. I even wouldn't mind to send those docs around the globe as long as i don't have a scanner.

Hi, I just asked this question in the workshop section. Maybe it is better to ask it here. "I just saw this site and signed up today. The first ideas that came to mind was to tell a story about the origin of the virus. But that would mean…

Stories outside the timeline?

Hi,I just saw this site and signed up today. The first ideas that came to mind was to tell a story about the origin of the virus. But that would mean starting in the past and then do a connection to 2007 later on. Would that stand a chance to be published in the book (at best ;-)) or be part of the project?Cheers,plan9See More
