"yup, i was in iraq for 2 years as an infantry man and never once did i use burst or full auto, rapid fire semi at best. much more economical use of rounds."

"yes exactly. people tend to go with shotgun first, and dont get me wrong its a fine tool, but shotguns are support weapons, not primary. unless of course you have nothing else to choose from."

"i think the thing to remember is whatever caliber your going to go with, make sure its something thats easy to get resupplied. sure 5.7mm or 6.8mm would be great to have, but what happenens when you run out of ammo?"

"a crossbow is a ridiculous choice, reload time is too slow and its only accurate at close range, almost melee range. better off with a low to medium caliber assault rifle."
