By nightfall, the heat of the day had been replaced with a biting wind. I had decided that I would slog into the woods and end it in a pretty place if I had the stones. It had gotten cold fast though, and I had a fever. Have you ever had a fever and been subjected to cold? You might not remember what it’s like if it’s been a while. It sucks. I needed a place to crash pretty quick, and a beat up old silver airstream trailer about a mile into the woods looked damned…

I still haven’t found out why some of them can run, or can’t, depending on how you look at it. The Runners are still alive, the slow ones aren’t. That’s all I know. That’s all anyone knows. Except they’re fast. Everybody knows that.
Damn fast.
Did I mention that I waved as the convoy pulled away, leaving me to die, quite literally, in the middle of the road? Nobody waved back.
So with gun in hand, I followed the convoy at a modest…

There’s still a government. I don’t think this, or believe this, I know this.
I know this because they want me. They want me badly. I didn’t kill anyone of great importance. I don’t possess nuclear launch codes or have a stocked underwater base. I haven’t come up with a cure or a vaccine.
They don’t want me because of who I am. They want me because of what I am.
I am the…

Apocolypse poem
Now i lay me down to sleep,
i pray the Lord my soul to reap.
That i should die before i wake,
I pray, dear God, my soul soon take.
But if i turn to midnight snack,
i pray for strength to long fight back;
to not become an undead drone
and ever make the wretched moan.
So if i shan't find rest this night,
I pray for strength in endless fight.
But if I'm torn limb from limb,
I take peace in joining…

Cured - part 8
"What do you miss?" she asked me one night out of the blue.
"Besides everything?"
"Yes. If you could pick one thing that you could have right now, what would it be?" I thought about that for about two seconds before blurting out that I wanted pizza. Kira sighed.
"Okay fine. What about you? What is this deep and philosophical thing you miss?" She really annoyed me sometimes with how high and mighty she acted. Like she was so above me somehow.

Me and another guy, Kyle. We were in the Lobby of a Hospital waiting for for Susan with the car. But, suddenly, we saw Susan and a man we had never met before come running into the Hospital. "Whats wrong?" Kyle asked.
"We have to run, we have to run now" The man yelled. We followed him and Susan, it was just like Left 4 Dead. As I looked behind me, fear struck throughout my entire body. Hundreds of Zombies were on our tail, "C'mon in here" The man shouted holding a door to the…

The Downward Spiral
My mother , my brothers , my girlfriend. All dead. I killed them. Zombies. They are soulless killing machines.
No mercy , no love, just hunger(No different to me really). When the outbreak hit i had a brief plan(i think we all did, right?) take the essentials upstairs then destroy the staircase. Familiar? yes, but it worked. for a little while anyways , until we went on a supply run and i was the only survivor. You know the moment you look around you and acknowledge what is happening…

We've all had the Feeling, when one of our friends dies, it sucks doesn't it? I remember, the first person we lost was my buddy Christian. He was a cool guy, it the Zombies never took over, we never would have met. But, afterwards, we did become friends, two teenage boys just trying to fit in with a group of adults. Well, in December he and I were in the woods with a woman named Jackie. We were just killing zombies, clearing the area. We thought we had finished; we were wrong. "That's the…

It was another crazy weather day in Texas.
The alarm on the Huawei cell phone, with the recently cracked screen lay on the little table next to the bed. It vibrated and lit up as the ringtone from Nickelback played as loud as it could go. The first alarm rang out playing the full song, then the screen flashed 5 mins. He rolled over and looked towards the phone,he reached for it and slide the unlock button to turn the alarm off before it began the loud tone again.
It…

waking up in a nightmare- ghost town
I open my eyes seeing myself sitting upon my friends. but, they couldn't see me. All I could do was watch Liz looking down at me, stroking her hand along my face... She didn't make a sound, or unless it was just me. I look ahead seeing James stare out the window, Wendy maintaining her speed, and Julie was a seat ahead of us sound asleep.
I look over the seat, watching her sleep, and feel a sting in my chest. Quickly looking at my body, seeing a tear roll down my cheek. Liz…

Where I Was (part 1)
The convoy was about 1 mile from entering the city of Hurricane, West Virginia when our communications on each soldier's radio began blairing with yells, orders, gun fire, and static. We were all confused and to begin with, thought we knew what we had to do, which was to simply evacuate the city. The covers were pulled down over the trucks, so we had no idea what was going on outside on the streets. We felt a sudden jolt and shaky rockin back and forth when all of a sudden the truck stopped.…

LIving it up in a world of death.
Journal entry: Jordan Yates

Before the zombie plague, i was normal, walking among the others. Despite my physical abilities and mental prowess, i was the same as them, no greater, no less. While i could race over city blocks due to my years of parkour, i was no better. while i could topple veritable giants and fell hordes of enemies that never came, i was no better than the masses. And even my intellect in all its vastness had little bearings on my status among them.…

Too dead too die
Journal entry: Witness Drake Walton

I am a zombie. I breath, i eat my meals cooked, i think and yet i am dead. a cold corpse from head to toe. I feel nothing.
Once, when the first outbreak near my home happened, i killed two zombies. i was only fourteen at the time. Then i felt, then i knew fear, pain, sorrow, confusion and love. i had loved my mother; her soft brown curls and blue eyes she'd passed to me. i loved her when she was angry, when she was drunk, i loved…
