Well, here I am in this shit hole farmhouse, I found a friend, the farmer's cat is still alive. I fed it some tuna from my dinner and it has been very affectionate since. I guess I should count my blessings, the farmer was a smoker like me, he had a case of black and milds upstairs, I put them in my pack. He also had a nice 12 gauge and a decent scoped 30-06, too bad there's no ammo for the 30-06, oh well, maybe I can trade the .45 ammo for some 30-06 later. The only other thing worth taking…

A slow fade from black brings Katherine on to your screen; she appears a bit more vivacious, unlike her last posting filled with dread and sorrow. Her bright eyes making their presence known again. A smile enlivens the camera; an already lit cigarette finds its way to her lips, adding more brightness to the scene with its luminous crimson glow. Her voice laced with hints of cheer, and smoke slowly leaves her mouth as she speaks.

Okay so yesterday I said that to kill a zombie, sever the spinal cord or annihalate the brain.

I wasn't kidding. When destroying a zombie...you can't just shoot it in the chest and walk away...hoping it won't get back up. You have to know for sure what's going to keep that zombie on the ground for good.

Well, when prodding a zombies brains you don't want to just poke it's eye and hope that means it's dead for good. No, just...no. You want to scramble the brains like that zombie…

We were attacked by hordes of mindless flesh eating zombies when we least expected it, everyone we know and love is dead or going to die, and we are going to die. I really don't know what happened... It has been over 4 years since I woke up in hell.

Dandelion leaves are tasty and good to eat. So I pick them Dandelions also bring the Rabbits.

Rabbits are tasty and useful. So I kill the Rabbits.

Deer also like Dandelion and are also useful and tasty. So I kill the Deer too.

Deer guts and Rabbit guts bring the Coyote.

Coyote are not tasty, but they do warn me when Zombies are close so they are useful I do not kill the Coyote.

Zombies are not tasty and are not useful I kill the Zombies.
