The Bunker - post 2

Well it’s been a pretty hairy last couple of days around here in the bunker. Another swarm passed through the area. These swarms just keep getting larger with every day. This is truly a friggin nightmare. I’m still safe here in my bunker, which is a sealed off basement and attached fallout shelter, but the B@st@rds somehow broke into the up stairs. Well this is a fine kettle of fish...rotting fish! I don't really know who I'm writing this diary to or for. Perhaps it's just to help keep my sanity together. What little bit still remains, that and I think the cat is tired of listening to me talk to myself. But at least I'm not totally alone. I know there are some folks out there that are still alive. We're at Shakey's. It's my kid brother's birthday and I just gave him his card and presents. His gift cost me a pretty portion of my pay check but the look on his face was priceless. He's 12 and I got him a fully constructable lightsaber. My dad rolls his eyes at me because he knows how much it cost and thinks I'm trying to buy my brother's love.

Blog #1 - A Hint of Things to Come?

Studying has got to be my least favourite thing to do. Luckily, I just have two more exams to do; Journalism: Law and Ethics and Disease and Society.

Disease and society has been a trip, honestly. Professor Hyde said that we're well over due for a flu pandemic. Can you believe that?
