So many days have passed. I'm sorry to report that I have been bitten.
Slowly, I feel that I am turning into one of them. Wanting blood. We've been working on a cure. Hopefully, it works. I want nothing more than to be normal. I hate this feeling of wanting blood. What else can I do but lust of blood?

The jeep wasn't sounding too healthy but I didn't care. I had company and we were heading somewhere. That beat being locked up in the attic like Rapunzel. I liked Kimbo right away and i think the feeling was mutual we sat in the back of that jeep happy as pigs in shit and for the first few hours i was swept away to some fantasy corner of my mind where the last few weeks had never happened. It felt just like when mum and dad would take me camping in the summer. Billy and Jen seemed lost…Continue

Next to no food.
Power and water all fine and peachy.
I found a cat, a ginger cat I chose to nickname 'Ginger' rather ironic really and from what I have been seeing, humans are just as bad as the zeds. A dog eat dog mentality, take what they want and kill the ones who oppose. I've moved further away after a recent scene I watched as two men, bludgeoned another just to get the stuff on his back. A well played out scene, one man being the nice guy…Continue

What a zombie virus would do to the brain
So maybe you've seen "Night of the Living Dead," read "World War Z," or can't wait for the return of the AMC show "The Walking Dead," but you probably don't know what differentiates the brains of humans and zombies.
First things first: How does the zombie disease infect its victims? Many stories in the genre talk about biting, but Schlozman's novel imagines a deliberately engineered virus whose particles can travel in the air and…

And that is what happened, well not exactly right? I survived after all. Simon shot me, his aim could not have been more perfect, missing all the vital organs. I was shocked but as he put it “I had to play the part.” The shock of the others, yes even the raiders gave him enough time to signal me that It would be all right. I fell down and as the raiders went to do what they do best, my own group picked me up to tend to my burial. In reality Izzie bandaged me during our ride to a port,…Continue

The plumbing is done, Marcus and Tom have finished by working almost 16 hours a day, even build a supporting wall around the construction so it would not succumb to random zombie attacks. And Frank, finally chipping in, mixed up the cement in the trucks that were surrounding the building site of the new museum. Simon has been busy these last 5 days, He…Continue

We’ve decided to bring the equipmentfrom the kitchen upstairs, and next reroute the pipes and finally hook upeverything again.…Continue

Just did a check-up onMaria, Her temperature has risen to about 40°C. Beside the fact that she has been shivering nonstop she vomited 2 times in the past 30 minutes, I haven’t told her husband anything. Asked Simon if he could watch her for a few hours, I really need a nap.
Woke up two hours ago, screaming and shouting coming from the other side of the building. Somehow I knew what was going on…Continue

We left the Van Dykes behind, they refused to join us. Marcus is driving, Simon is in the back checking all the weapons and ammo. I got both my nail gun and my crowbar back; they’re stuffed in my backpack with the guide.Isabella wrote a list with the names and skills of everyone in our group. After she fell asleep I put my coat over her and walked to Marcus, giving him directions somewhere…Continue

How goddamn fitting that this whole mess started so close to Halloween. Despite the fact that it wasn't very long ago, it feels like years since I lived anything even remotely resembling a normal life.
Just a month after I began my freshman year of high school, and I had already established a reputation there. Not a particularly bad one, mind, at least in my opinion. I was well-known for constantly interjecting. Like all the time. They actually took to calling it…Continue

First off, let me be completely realistic: we're all going to die. That's not the bleak, pessimistic comment it sounds like, which is strange because I am often described as a bleak pessimist. What I'm saying is, death is inevitable, but some of us can postpone it long enough to die peacefully in our beds of old age or organ failure.
And then some of us get torn apart and eaten by walking corpses.
I plan on avoiding the latter.
I don't know why…Continue
NECROMANCER BANK ROBBER
In February 2007 a man was seen breaking into a bank with a vile filled with the superflu virus that has since caused so much pain and death in an event that has become to be known as the Zpoc. There were several witnesses of the bank robbery, some of which has suvived so far to be able to tell our…Continue

I glance at my watch, quarter-to-three, great, the game doesn’t start for another 15 minutes. I walk faster, I don’t care how stupid I look, that bitch already took everything from me; my kids, my car, hell, even my pride. I don’t really care, as long as I have clothes on my back and a heartbeat, I’m fine.
I peer at the time again, ten-to. The streets are awfully empty for a Sunday afternoon, but then again it is Superbowl Sunday, it’s eerily quiet despite the shuffling of…Continue

I returned to my house today. After the evacuation, after crazed rioters were reduced to shambling shadows of their former selves, after 98% of the towns population was either dead or worse, undead, after the refugee camp was compromised, after the doctors & nurses, policemen and soldiers had all gone and after all the screaming was replaced by the moans of the infected, the busy little town that had been my home since birth and where 8 generations of my family had lived was now nothing…Continue
Hello is anyone out there? The camp where me and about 30 other survivors and military staff were held up, was overrun. I was, as far as I know, the only person that escaped. Now I'm hiding in a old farm house in the country side. It's pretty sizable, for a large family obviously. 4 bedroom, 2 bath, an office, living room, and den. (side note: left window in den needs to be barricaded) You know, for being in the middle of nowhere there…Continue
