PART EIGHTEEN
It had been two days since Mary joined us. I had noticed a couple odd things about her but I wrote it off to the trauma of losing her family. I was going to sit down and discuss it with Kelly and Bryon but it was one of those things that got pushed to the side.
We stayed clear of Bonner’s place for the time being. We managed to find some very useful items in the nearby farms. A few adults would head out with some of the kids while the rest stayed at my house.…

Hello, my name is Christopher. I am a survivor in Newark, Ohio. This is my story.
It was the 6th when the virus hit Newark. I guess we were ready. The City had called a meeting on the 3rd, thats right, there hasn't been a town meeting in Newark for like 100 years or something like that. Damn near everyone showed up. When the first stuff from Vegas came up we just went into a craze, we put up a shit ton of fences around the border of the city, then we fuckin made everyone with…

We have a new place, now: a two-story apartment builing with locking back and front doors with windows reinforced by metal mesh. We have selected one aparement for our base. It's closest to a second story window in case of the need for escape. It also has a stock of rice and dried beans.
My boyfriend, Mike, and I, Melissa, had things well under control. We were both at home when the first tidal wave of zombies hit, but, as we live in Southern Illinois, and used to live in a far-out…

There are 285 mason Jars in Sandra Billings basement. Three weeks ago, 150 of them were filled with red raspberry preserves, 60 with Strawberry Jam, 40 with homemade applesauce and the remaining 35 were awaiting their contents at about the same time Sandra was attacked in her garden by a group of rather ravenous corpses.
Billy blundered into the scene two days later. Billy is a rather fat kid. It's sad to say but it's true. Morbidly obese doesn't cut it and quite frankly, pleasantly…

I led my first assault in a long time today. The target: Forks, Washington. It was a small town, so it was easy for me and my undead forces to invade and take over. I still relish the sound of the weak humans begging and screaming for mercy as I cut down and fed their friends and family to my rotting minions. It went a little like this...
10:00 AM
The sentries around Forks survey the surrounding forest for the undead. Nothing new. Just the occasional zombie every now…

PART SEVENTEEN
We hadn’t heard any more shots since leaving the house. We tried to raise the scavenging group on all frequencies. There was no response. We cut across some fields and came to the back side of a ridge on the northeast end of the farm. This was the Durance Place. It was a dairy farm. They had about a hundred head and some chickens too.
We came in through the back of the big barn. There were no cows in stalls. The Durance’s must have put them all out to…

I've gotten shelter thanks to Jack Mudok, and I would like to offer my survises to any one who needs aid.
I have been practicing and been taught hand to hand styles, mostly police and escaping maneuvers, since I was 7. I was basically born with a gun in my hand, though it would have been a berrita pistol over a long ranged rifle. If your ever in need of a recon man I'm great at scouting, map reading, and most importantly, covering my tracks. If need be, I can hit a one…

I prefer hearing the bad news before the good news. Gives me something to look forward too. The man we evac'd was infected. Turned the next day into a runner. I shot him in the heart a few times, he seemed to die but was back up in about 5 minutes or so. Confirms my theory about runners. Waste of ammo. Regardless, go for the head. They wont get back up. I was hoping I could at least get the general area where he had come from so we could plan our next operation. His answers were not helpful. I…

PART SIXTEEN
“Hey, we’re back.” I announced as I walked through the door. It was about 0230 hours. “We heard and saw you get back.” Kelly answered in a tone I’ve heard before. “Yeah, everyone meet Nick, Beth and Kyle Bentz. Nick was a cop in Haven before ‘The Fall’. They’re all friends of mine. They got stuck in Haven when the wanna-be warlord took over. He’s no longer an issue.” I explained. “Welcome to our group Nick, Beth and Kyle” Mike Barnes gave the first greeting then everyone…

Reports have been coming in and i have been informed of people having unusual symptoms. Recently lots of strange things have been happening and this is quite unusual. I have recently been informed about a middle aged man who collapsed in the middle of town and who had blood gushing from his mouth. Paramdeics were soon on seen and the area was cleared. The police arrived shortly after and no-one was allowed near the area, anyone who did was arrested and two men who tried were taken away in a…

The wind stirs slightly around the blast crater where Killa so bravely gave his life. But, something else is in the air too. The lingering spirits of the undead and the left over radioactivity start to drift towards the very center of the crater. Once they reach the center, all hell breaks loose.
The spirits moan and scream and spin, than shoot into the ground, one after the other. Soon, the radioactive mist settles on the newly formed grave. The ground shakes as a loud voice rips…

Yesterday after purchasing working clothes and tools, I returned to the job site before the day ended at the Teresa staging area and took another quick look around. I waited for the workers to call it a day and followed my mark to wherever it is he would go on Thursday nights. It turns out I was in luck. Apparently, these construction workers were also talented at consuming copious amounts of alcohol. The good news just kept on coming. I know men, especially men with…

Hello there! I'm new to the site and I think this site is amazing. Whole settlements of survivors! Other wandering lost souls making contact. Consider one new settlement added to the the list. But, I'm not here to talk about that. Right now, I'm not even here to talk about zombies. Right now, I'm addressing an issue that has yet to be brought up. Raiders.
But what are Raiders? Raiders are groups of people who prey upon the weak to support themselves. Think of all the bullies in your…

I was listening to the radio after getting waking up at around seven thirty in the Jeep. It was the morning news, and probably the hundredth time I’ve heard the media call this pandemic the “Super Flu” since the beginning of the month. People were really starting to get afraid, and I wondered if maybe the fear was more dangerous than the virus itself. One thing I could say for sure is that it definitely had someone in the White House spooked, otherwise this place I was…

Tonight I had four team members leave, two of which had wives with them. They decided to try and make it to a "safe town" the heard about from one of our employers. One of the team made a deal with that same employer to get an armored truck large enough to take what supplies we are allowing them to take. I had to transport him to the area where the truck was waiting in our Kubus. We left during the day so they could have everything ready for tonights trip. Why at night? I guess they are ready…

Hi Guys and Gals... just been tinkering with a little piece of fiction. It may become a serial piece.
I might go missing in action for days at a time, but only because I'm up to my neck in work. But I will try and post a few bits when I can.
SURVIVAL?
I could feel its breath on my face, warm, moist and cloying. It snarled, exhaling a putrid aroma that brought the acrid taste of vomit into my throat.
Its lips, like the rest of its…

Suppose I might as well get this done eventually, part two of my little journal of the last two years events. The last time I ended just on the outskirts of Glasgow, me Amanda and my dad were heading out. The fires of the city and the sirens of the chaos within at our backs. We hadn’t bothered to bury my brothers corpse. Didn’t have the time. Seemed cruel. But what isn’t in this world?
We hadn’t made it far before the primal nature of this world became so utterly apparent. A small…

It has been at least a month since my team has found anyone alive, or at least alive and uninfected. My team has been moving by day through this small town we are currently occupying. The dead are easy to avoid. Im sure they can hear us though...and smell us. If we stop moving, they come to us. It makes it hard to search for survivors when we know that it's only a matter of time before the dead find us. My team has gotten extremely quick at clearing buildings. We still need to work on saving…

We have had around twenty runners seemingly attacking our electrified fence in a pack mentality. I have been on patrol tonight and have shot over thirty runners that were attempting to attack our fence. I am almost sure they are from the same pack that attacked the truck we were supposed to guard. I am afraid they followed us to our base. These runners have only had one or two bite marks which makes me believe that they are being turned by a "lead" runner and allowed to turn while still alive.…
