Fading Fast
I know no one is probably reading these, not now and probably not in the future. I'm basically talking to air right now, typing this out knowing no one is likely to read it. But I can't just sit around and wait to be forgotten and die.
I want at least one person to remember who I was.
Even if all they remember are these words that don't mean a thing to them, I want at least one person in this world to know I was here and that I lived through this…

The New Colosseum
We received intelligence from a passing merchant that there is a settlement of former looters, they are now running a gambling den with arena matches and they also charge admission to watch zombies tear people apart. It occurred to me the scavengers we sent out who never came back probably fell prey to them. We realized we had to shut it down.
I called a meeting for my group, we decided who would go and we loaded up in our vehicles. We parked it about 1/2 mile from the arena camp, me…

Operation Restoration Sneak Peek

It wasn't until I realized that this was the first time I had ever woken up before noon in Las Vegas that it hit me that it was also the first time I was not hung over or still drunk from the night before. Coffee in hand, standing on the balcony of a suite I couldn't afford I marvel at the kaleidescope of oranges and reds of the rising desert sun. It's such a majestic sight that I almost yearn for past sunrises I've missed because of my old friend alcohol.
I close my eyes,…

Long overdue
We have been hiding for a while. I didn't think my town was kinda safe. Theres not a lot of zombies since we are surrounded by farm land. Everyone in Seneca kills zombies on sight. We have plenty of blunt objects to kill them with but I have been trying to study them. Seems to me that they are attracted to any loud noise and when one vocalizes others come hoping that the noise was food. when in the dark they do not move much if there is no noise they just stand there swaying. It's…

Chaos
It's been tough trying to find a way to get back on here. Connections are tough to find these days. So here's a continuation of what happened to us, for as long as I can tell it.
One of the few places that we could feel safe, as safe as possible in a war zone, was on our FOB. It's the one place in Iraq where we can remove the armor, unload the ammo from the rifle, and unwind (after doing maintenance on our vehicles, cleaning weapons, receiving mission briefs, ass chewings for…

Day one
Day One,
This is the first day in what is sure to be a long string of days. They have all gone from this place... I fear that I am the last one here with a beating heart. I have some rations, but I don't know how long they will last. My only company is my cat, and the haunting screams of my loved ones lingering in my ears. I'm still in shock. I have committed acts that I never in a million years would have imagined possible. I don't know what these creatures are, but they are…

Hey everyone, Ryan Anonymous here. Before the outbreak, I was nothing but a political skeptic. I told my viewership of nearly five thousand a day on my internet radio show that there was something wrong with the reports that were coming out of the nations of this world.
I told my viewers that what was happening in Camp St. Teresa wasn't an aid camp, that it really was a death camp, they wanted to round people up and kill them off, so that the infection wouldn't spread. When…

Help Me! I live in Newman
Not everything is as it seems in
Newman
Let me tell you about Newman to begin with. Newman
is located in the top northern half of Western Australia; close your eyes for a
moment. Have you done it? Good, now I want you to imagine the most desolate yet
beautiful dessert regions of Australia, where all the soil is bright red. Now
we will call this imaginary place 'Bum-fuck-nowhere' Located next door to
'Bum-fuck-nowhere' is Newman. Newman…

I hated Thursdays.
It was the day that I had to answer for the performance of my team to my boss. I was a supervisor at a telemarketing company. The job was alright, but man, I hated Thursdays.
I got to the office like any other day, turned on the computer, sighed a big sigh, and looked forward to 11:00 because that was when the conference call would be over. I was especially dreading it because over the past week, my team had sucked. Really sucked. I…

Day One- September 14, 2011
I tried. I really tried to wait for him.
But the zombies- they just had too many advantages. Roughly fifty of them- or maybe more, I couldn't count. I was unprepared at the time. I was scrubbing the bathroom floor, cleaning the blood from when we had to shoot our daughter (she had been infected by the airborn germ), when the first one came. Through the toilet. I screamed. He moaned. His ghastly rotten flesh made a putrid stink. Luckily I had my shotgun in the bathtub. Pop.…

The Last Big Score...(part three)
We entered into the main office that we had to go through to get into the warehouses. I had pulled up my CETME and flipped off the safety, however it was too long for an indoor altercation, so I pulled out my Ruger .357 with the crimson trace grip and the speed loaders on my belt. The first zombie I saw was sitting over a pool of blood, clearly a fresh kill, I silenced my men then holstered my pistol, I took my crowbar off my back and ran at it, it turned just in time to get the back of the…

The last big score...(part two)
... Mile 155 our three vehicles we were driving to the Ball Cannery were, our scout car a Subaru Outback lightened by cutting off the roof and all non-essential metal parts, one of the two troop carriers a Chevy Suburban that was lightly stripped for fuel efficiency, and our Armored Personal Carrier, Forward Assault Vehical, and Supply Carrier "Little Jimmy" a CAT 775F 70 ton custom capped and AR400 armored hauler which was a gas guzzler but luckily we found a full gas station a couple weeks…
