its christmas

christmas. what a joke this year. but at least we are grateful to be alive.

i guess the zombies aren't affected by the cold. they seem to be attracted to sources of heat. or is it that they can somehow tell we are inside? can they hear our heartbeats like vampires? or smell us? it seems more and more come each day.

yesterday i watched as our mayor turned zombie was gunned down in the street in front of my house. my neighbor, the neighbor i had screamed and pleaded for help… Continue

I should've let her call in sick...

My sister Jazz (Jasmine), never took anything seriously. She never finished college. She never held a steady job. She always called in sick to work and then I'd find her partying later that night, sometimes she started at noon. In my opinion, she was kind of a loser. With all the hoopla going on about the Campion virus and what not, I took extra precautions to keep the kids at work safe. I was a childcare provider at 'Angel's wing' daycare. I hired Jazz as a favor. Just trying to be a good…

'Nightmare Before Christmas' Word Doc. Page 3 (LBREBNER_PDA)

I have had some quiet days. Not many contacts with humans, and the ones I've talked to have raved and ranted about well this is going to sound bizarre and total bullshit, but the Living Dead? Man what a crock of shit. Fucking zombies!! These woods I'm in now, according to the map stuck in the ground, is Thetford forest, I've decided to stay here, they're thick, providing a good food source, cover, and shelter. If this undead fiasco is real, I think it's best to avoid main towns and cities. But… Continue

Christmas.

And so it's almost Christmas, and we're still locked in. I think everyone in my building left, so the water supply is hanging on pretty well. I'm afraid eventually we won't have any water left, and we'll have to move. There hasn't been no need to go outside yet, and no one tried to get in, so we're here. We have some chicken in the freezer, it'll be a good roasted tasty chicken in a few days. We've been saving it for Christmas. It'll be nice. I never believed in God, in Jesus or whatever, but a… Continue

'The Awakening' Word Doc. Page 2 (LBREBNER_PDA)

I've decided to label the 'chapters' of my Chronicle as it were to better explain the content.

I've been made aware that some force is taking over America, explains what the old bastard was mumbling about over a fortnight ago. I saw it first on a TV in a local pub, those people seemed a little more normal. Not coughing and wheezing, and a little light hearted for old fellas. But normal. I watched riots and fires burning, cities and roads blocked, people running, from well, people running.… Continue

The Current Situation: Barricaded In, Escape Route secure.

I'm still unsure of what's going on. Last week, I woke up to scratching on my window and this week, my house is surrounded by the walking dead.

My grandparents were on vacation when this whole thing started. Hopefully, they're safer in the Azores than I am here. For now, I'm going to try to survive on my own against this tide of the living dead.

For the first month, electricity still worked and water still ran. I bottled what I could, filtered it using the Brita pitcher,… Continue

Pray For The Fish

I bashed a head in.

Am I a murderer?

It was yesterday, I moved the barricade aside, opened the door, and was jumped by a monster, I pushed it away, and bashed the head in with a pipe, knocking it to the ground, a lucky strike, it started to get up again.

I bashed it in the head two more times, pink specks on the tip of my pipe, and a terrible, red membrane leading from the head to my pipe, all was still.

And then the smell knocked me off my feet.

I closed the door, and… Continue

I love lawn sharks.

Happy birthday to me!

No, but seriously, my food supply has run short after only a week.

And the house, as I incorrectly guessed before, is surrounded, in a semi literal sense.

See, they have the main road(a good five or so minute walk from the house) essentially meatwalled, this wasn't a problem earlier, but apparently they've escaped from their confines.

I also spotted zombies on the rocky shore, a good fifty metres or so below the basement area, they have yet… Continue

Let the Bodies Hit the Floor......

So the Zombie Apocaqlypse has begun.

I've gotta say, post-apocalyptic "Zombie World" is not all it was cracked up to be.

There are way less of the "provactive-yet-functional outfits" and "cool-zombies-decapitating moves" side of…
