Part 1..

A RUDE AWAKENING..

I woke to an ambulance siren whirring weakly outside my window, its lights flashing into my room, lighting the whole thing up. I wondered why it was stopped outside, and, after looking through my window, not able to see it over the wall outside, I went to investigate...

As I stepped outside the door I felt a great shiver up my spine and knew something was amiss... I walked around the wall of my house and, to my great surprise; the ambulance was turned… Continue

The Hunt Begins

The Hunt Begins(part 2 of The Outbreak)

Group:Mine

I stayed at my home for many hours...

I knew I'm the only one left in the city...

My cellphone has a low battery and I don't want to waste

it...I remembered that my friend gave me a gun and i put

it in my garage...I was scared to get out now.

When i was thinking of a plan how to get out...

I heard a moan... I want to check it out but I'm too

scared,I just ignored… Continue

My Worst Enemy Part 3

Crash! The sound of glass falling to the ground. I turned to see what looked like a human head, slightly ripped apart lying on my floor. I peered acrossed the way to see the other window of another room, someone must threw it. I ran closer to window and saw what it looked like was another person. They were trying to get my attention, was i not competely alone?

I yelled out the window into the deaf ear of the moaning undead. Nothing in response, i stuck my head out my window and realize… Continue

The Hollow:12-16-08, Back in the Game

"What do you mean your'e not O.K., what's wrong?" Tony asked.

"They're dead," I whispered, barely making myself audible. "My grandparents are dead!" Now close to a shout.

The room fell silent from then on, excluding the sound of my own pitiful sobs. Right at that moment, I'm pretty sure I felt as close to worthless as anyone could ever feel. I felt as though, at that point, I had failed everyone, including myself.

Grandma, and Grandpa were dead. She had been bitten, and grandpa… Continue

Cashews & Vodka

Another fight over food today, this one over a can of cashews. A can of fucking cashews. Does anybody even remember how cheap those things were? Two, maybe three dollars? Hell, they weren't even brand-name ones, just some generic-brand cashews from Wal-Mart or Giant. Are they even that important to our food stockpiles? I mean, I can understand the bigger things, like the breads, the meats, the vegetables, the fruits, and the like, but a can of cashews?

Still, it makes… Continue

September 29th, 2008

The green interstate sign for exit 179B loomed overhead almost exactly as I came to. Ben had insisted on driving during the night, claiming that the day gave me a greater handle on things which was true enough I guess. See in the day time, you never accidentally drive into a festering swarm of them around a corner. You can keep your bearings and it's pretty smooth sailing. How exactly it is that Ben could drive for miles at night with no headlights is one of life's greatest mysteries. I sat my… Continue

Remembering.

I remember sitting there playing. I couldn’t have been more than three. I remember playing and then coming to a realization that I was completely alone. The terror that gripped me then was much like it is now, a cold lead weight that’s tied to your guts and pulls your airway tight making it hard to move and harder to breathe. Except then I turned around and someone was there but I couldn’t tell who it was due to the light streaming from behind them leaving them in a glorious silhouette. The… Continue
