It was a normal evening in Warren Ohio locked away in the basement away from the world and allowing selective information to enter through a flickering screen from the rest of the world. the smell of candles which had just been blown out and feeling as a new man. One who which would do great to serve the community on his eighteenth birthday. I lived in a rather poor family but rich enough to afford the essentials and maybe a good dinner here and there. There was a cake and there were no…

One time she had been running for 2 days straight. No matter where she had run to, there they were. The Undead. Anytime she had come across some one alive, they had died on her. Between the adrenaline highs and lows, as well as witnessing the death and horror of the outbreak, she was exhausted. Which would probably explain why she did what she was about to do.
She was ready to die, wanted to after all she had seen. The Undead had gathered, feasting as they seemed to do in the…

Since the outbreak, I've tried carefully to keep accounts of everything. And I mean everything. Every radio broadcast. Every person, whether dead or alive, I encounter. Everything. Please let this help someone out there. Please let them find a way out.

Vic Chesnutt, the Georgia-based singer-songwriter known for his darkly comic songs, died yesterday in Athens, Georgia, after spending several days in a coma caused by an overdose of muscle relaxers. Chesnutt, who was confined to a wheelchair after a car crash at age 18, was discovered in the late 1980s by R.E.M.’s Michael Stipe, who produced his first two albums, Little…

There's no food left in any of the stores. The only food left in this entire city is stocked up in my stronghold that I've made out of a brick house that seems to be really zombie resistant. And that is not a whole lot. I've probably got enough to last a week. Maybe three if I really try.
After that, I don't know. I could go and try to find the base I've heard about in the UP but seriously, who am I to kid. I have no one. I am no one. There is nothing left for me to live for. The…

Ok im back with part 3. Sorry i havn't sent a journal for a while, it's been kind of hectic here. So last time it was me ryan and jonathan. Since then jonathan has slowly become our new friend. We basically just sat around and talked. But eventually we all started to get a little restless. Every once in a while a zombie would wonder in, but we took care of them easy. But after about 20 wandered in, we noticed we were low on ammo, and we also saw that if a bunch got in, my small magnum wouldn't…

“Up the stairs gentlemen,” the woman said, again gesturing with the muzzle of her gun. Zach lead us up and we exited onto the roof. The mystery shooter greeted us, his bolt action rifle nestled in the crook of his elbow. He looked to be in his forties, close cropped black hair, medium height and build.
“Nice of you fellows to join us,” he said, extending a hand, “The name’s Mark.”
Zach and I introduced ourselves, shaking his hand.
“That was some good shooting there,” Zach…

The fact that she was the only one doing any kind of research on A.I.D.S., or “Campi”, should have at least insured that she got her medical degree. Not bad, considering that she had been studying drama. She writes.
Facts she has been able to test and verify so far were:
A.I.D.S. Drugs were ineffective when taken by non-H.I.V. + afflicted. Persons afflicted by A.I.D.S. or H.I.V., did not suffer from the “Superflu, Campi,” or it's present mutation(Zombies). Any…

I hope to get some feedback on this story. I could see it in my mind instantly… made me wish I had video equipment.
“What You Are”
Int:
In a dark garage a fatigued-looking woman in her late twenties lifts a wooden bird feeder above her head, then smashes it onto the concrete floor. She picks up a few of the pieces and brings them into the kitchen of her home.
Inside, shafts of light shine through spaces between the plywood sheets covering the windows.…

She dreams...
3 maybe 4 days after the first breakouts. Still so soon in the human psyche as to be unreal. She had found herself as part of a group of survivors trying to escape from the city, still unsure of where to go. They had posted lookouts while they slept, but in those early days, discipline was always slipping.
It was only about 8, or 9 of them. They hadn't even been together long enough to know each others names. All she can remember are the screams as they were…

Zombies are green. Not so much in the fact of their skin color, but in the fact that they had a small carbon footprint. Two years since “Campi” had won out, and The Earth was healing nicely. No more “Mass Exodus” on the freeways or roads, here the world returned to Nature, and to itself. All of Man's biggest faults seem to shrink back. There was no more "Heir Apparent". Here she knew the truth.
About how the meek would inherit the Earth. No time to idle. The snow had just started to…
