I've written 35,026 words of a novel. I'm on track to hit the 50,000 word count goal established by NANOWRIMO.
I write 1,667 words a day. That part hasn't been difficult. The words come quickly and easily. The problem is that I'm using up all my words, like my brain is only willing to formulate so many sentences a day. I've written 21,699 words in my NANOWRIMO novel. That's somewhere around 80 pages. I'm on track to hit 50k words by the end of the month.
The writing is going smoothly, at least in terms of getting my daily quota of words written. The story, however, is all over the place. Instead of writing in chronological order I've been jumping forward and back in time. I'm doing this because I need to be sure to tackle important plot…

I'm taking part in National Novel Writing Month. NANOWRIOMO started yesterday November 1st. The goal of NANOWRIMO is to write 50,000 words in 30 days. I'm using this as an opportunity to write a story about patient zero in the Lost Zombies mythology. When we were coming up with the idea for the site I had a notion of how the virus began.
