Journal from Camp Teresa

Camp Teresa, Day One

So, I just arrived at Camp Teresa and I decided to keep a journal of my time here. If they do find a cure, this could prove to be a historical document (ha, ha). Really, I just want a way to focus my thoughts and to keep myself occupied. They took our cell phones and laptops when we entered, so I need a way to entertain myself. Anyway, here goes...

My symptoms aren't so bad, just a little cough and a fever so far, but I didn't want to take any chances.… Continue

Zom Journal Entry #1

Day #1

Life as we know it is over.

It's been at least twenty hours since the outbreak happened.

Two remaining co-workers and I…

Innocence Lost - Day 4

December 4th, 7:03 PM - Salmon, Idaho (GPS Locator out of service, please reinstall app)

The video starts with her very close to the camera, and then slowly she steps away looking at it, her eyes directly on you. Plopping down on the bed, she has a wide-angled camera shot to show her and the room. The bed is covered in a plain blue thick blanket, the bed-frame made out of exaggerated sized logs that add to the charm of the room, which is…

Innocence Lost - Day 2 (Later that day)

December 2nd, 2011 - 3:47pm - Salmon, Idaho - Google Map GPS: 44.499934,-114.902687

The camera pans around, catching a dizzying view of mountainous terrain then finally rests on her, clearly the dark makeup around her eyes has began to smear, lines of it draw down her face showing clearly she has shed tears at some point. By now, you've come to expect it, and it's no surprise, but she has a lit cigarette in her mouth. The environment has…

Innocence Lost - Day 2

December 2nd, 2011 - 5:43am

A camera flickers on, a young woman's face briefly appears, the sound of the microphone makes shuffling sounds as she attempts to get the camera pointing at her. The early morning light adds a surreal backdrop as she is clearly sitting in a car. The windshield behind her has smearing of blood and other such gruesome additions that are hardly recognizable due to the low quality of the film she is shot on. The young…

Innocence lost - Day 1

December 1st, 2011 - Time 8:47pm - Challis, Idaho

"Ok so zombie movies pretty much got it all fucking wrong"

"Well, where to start? I know everybody always wants to do some sort of vlog, and I can't imagine a better time" she says shifting so she's sitting upright.

"Well turns out, fucking Walmart wasn't such a great idea" she takes a long pull off her cigarette and lets the smoke roll from her lips, seemingly covered in a blackened…

Journal: Day 1 (Two weeks after Patient Zero)

Alright, um... I dunno where to start. It happened two weeks ago, when someone, somewhere, bit another someone... And then the situation exploded. They're EVERYWHERE. In the streets, in houses, in sewers... God, it hurts. It hurts so much... Every time I see one of them, I know it used to be a person, a regular Joe, someone maybe even like me. I've been going to Lost Zombies more and more, people are using it so much now that they've…

The Scorn Blogs

My name is Blake Howell, before the outbreak I was a fairly normal college student, I was gonna be a game designer, then THIS happened, now every day is a brutal fight for survival against those things. I have decided to document this daily fight for survival. In this journal I will record my daily activities, along with any other important information I may learn. If something happens to me, I only hope the information recorded in this journal is useful to whomever may find…

October 13th, 2010

How goddamn fitting that this whole mess started so close to Halloween. Despite the fact that it wasn't very long ago, it feels like years since I lived anything even remotely resembling a normal life.

Just a month after I began my freshman year of high school, and I had already established a reputation there. Not a particularly bad one, mind, at least in my opinion. I was well-known for constantly interjecting. Like all the time. They actually took to calling it…

April 26th, 2011

First off, let me be completely realistic: we're all going to die. That's not the bleak, pessimistic comment it sounds like, which is strange because I am often described as a bleak pessimist. What I'm saying is, death is inevitable, but some of us can postpone it long enough to die peacefully in our beds of old age or organ failure.

And then some of us get torn apart and eaten by walking corpses.

I plan on avoiding the latter.

I don't know why…

Journal entry 1

I am not Bob Cass but for the sake of those would stumble upon this I shall document what he knew, maybe I should explain. I was searching for more ammunition when I stumbled on something incredible. Bob Cass apparenty was a researcher but what he found was miraculous a subject infected yet entirely immune to the virus...Is this possible? I must know what he knew, what did he see? In his letter it says he went with the subject to Deposit ny to study her.Me, my wife and small group of friends… Continue

My personal zombie journal

Here, I will copy entries from my personal journal.  I keep written and illustrated records of the undead, social factions and other things I find important to survival.  I'm not a great artist so I will try to stick to photos when I can get them.  Otherwise, I might upload a drawing.  I hope others can find some use from my experiences.

A Dead World (1)

I can taste the blood in the air, the thick iron staining my taste buds.

It's kinda scary to think about all of the shamblers just outside of my house. Then, one is my baby bro, who tried to run away from it all, thinking if he ran fast enough, if he ran hard enough, he would be safe. I watched as a sprinter took him down and tore him to pieces. Not a sound; he went down without a word, scream or yelp.…

"Them"

Here I am, lying in my make-shift bed. Restless. I don’t sleep much any more. The thought of “them” finding me keeps me awake. But I make do with what I get. You learn to do that during times like this. Improvising is key. Next to salvaging and looting, that is. It’s a free-for-all, no one trusts you and you don’t trust them. Trust is a weakness in this world. A weakness many people fall prone to. You would think that this would be the one time that people would come together and help each…

No More Undead Pt. 3 (Final)

11/22/16 November 22, 2016
Apocalypse journal entry #118
Dr. Dimitri Tanner Matthews

The Men in the trucks just pass on by, without even noticing us. Chris starts to yell, but Scarlett slaps him across the face. That was enough to get one guys attention. He pointed at us and started firing. "Get down!" I say as I dove for cover. We all made it back inside. I took a peak outside and saw that they were driving away. They could care less if we were dead.…

4 29 10

We're on foot passing a small house in ohio right now. I can hear pounding inside but I can't bring myself to approach the house. A small girl named Ashley in my group asked me if she'll ever see her parents again. I force a smile and tell her they're in a better place. The group goes silent. We all know that if we do see her parents again that they wont be who they originally were. Monsters, ghouls, Zombies...

I am suddenly overwhelmed with a memory. A…

Survivor Journal: Day 879

Found out who stripped the army guys. Poor bastards. On the one hand I got a Berreta M92F and a MP5k. Damn nice find. Although there isn't much spare ammo for them its still nice to have a few extra guns. I managed to find about six more shotgun shells which means that I should be okay for another week or so. One of the bags of potato chips was moldy, so that was a waste of my time. At least I managed to kill four zombies today which brings me back up to my average. If you're still alive out… Continue

Survivor Journal: Day 878

Went into town for resupply today. You'd think I'd be used to the smell

by now, but I ain't. Got bit, doesn't matter. I think I am immune to the

virus. Got canned crap. Mostly carrots, beats, and dog food. I got two

bags of stale potato chips which is a really nice find. If you add

enough salt they almost taste like what they used to. I killed eight

zombies today which puts me down to seven .357 magnum rounds and only a

couple 20 gauge shotgun shells. Found a bunch… Continue

11.24.08 Schwarzschild radius

Writing this seems absurd. I know that there are zombies now. I had heard of the outbreak, of a superflu that had affected so many people but I have to tell you; I lied to myself and told myself that everything would be fine. This journal is a written testament of what I thought was happening. I have had a journal for a long time and have written a lot about my days, chronicling human history around me. I live in an apartment complex in Warrensburg. Well, this town is a university campus, most… Continue

The Journal of Gregory Lions (Part 4)

Hello again, my evenly spaced friend. Another week has gone by, and yet I strain to remember the fine details of it. But in an attempt to stall your boredom, I will tell you of my most recent venture for supplies.

Yesterday I found myself blocked from a large section of subdivisions by a bridge practically overflowing with cheap plywood barricades and at least a handful of survivors hidden inside. My recent exploits have somewhat desensitized me to murder, but I refuse to kill a man… Continue
