It's been a long time since I've updated this damn journal. That's not because I haven't had
things to say, but because I haven't had a chance to say the things I think I need to. A lot has
happened in the months I've been gone, but the world is still just as fucked as it's ever been
though. Who could have guessed?
I did manage to find a friend a few weeks ago while cleaning maggot infested horse meat off
my boots. He's an awesome guy. One that, so far, hasn't…
I look into the night...and see nothing. No lights. No people. Nothing. But...there is something. When your vision fails you...your ears take up the slack. When you're scared your ears pick up each snapping twig. Every sigh of the wind. The moans of the trees. Or...are those the trees? Your ears will hear things that aren't there. Shh! Listen. You hear your breath. You hear your heart pounding. It sounds like thunder in your ears. What else can hear it? What thing that your eyes ignore. Is…Continue

I've written 35,026 words of a novel. I'm on track to hit the 50,000 word count goal established by NANOWRIMO.
I write 1,667 words a day. That part hasn't been difficult. The words come quickly and easily. The problem is that I'm using up all my words, like my brain is only willing to formulate so many sentences a day. After my daily writing, inevitably I'm be required to speak with another living person. I try to avoid it…Continue
I've written 21,699 words in my NANOWRIMO novel. That's somewhere around 80 pages. I'm on track to hit 50k words by the end of the month.
The writing is going smoothly, at least in terms of getting my daily quota of words written. The story, however, is all over the place. Instead of writing in chronological order I've been jumping forward and back in time. I'm doing this because I need to be sure to tackle important plot…Continue
I'm taking part in National Novel Writing Month. NANOWRIOMO started yesterday November 1st. The goal of NANOWRIMO is to write 50,000 words in 30 days. I'm using this as an opportunity to write a story about patient zero in the Lost Zombies mythology. When we were coming up with the idea for the site I had a notion of how the virus began. It's a story I've wanted to explore for a long time.
I plan to publish blog posts about…Continue
In 18 days, I will be at my new place. However, school doesn't start for a good two weeks after that. So, what to do?
Yes, film stuff. I will film all 34 of the Lost Zombies Scenarios for the movie and submitting each of them. The more the merrier, right?
Right now I'm in the planning/logistics page, mapping out areas and exactly what I can do with each thing where I currently live. I will be sending out a call…Continue

There hasn't been any movement in a week since the explosions, the silence is unbearable.I sit in bed most nights, fully clothed, surrounded by explosives and guns, waiting for the sound of non-life. I know I have done away with a lot of them, but there were so many when I first started that it's hard to imagine…Continue
