Well I'm out, the feeling of the outside world is simply amazing, to not feel the wind for 5 years makes it even more lovely, there are no zed, no people, just a few birds that I can hear. Have just woken up from yesterday's full day of work and I can hear... Nothing, pure silence, not a bit of wind blowing through trees, not a single bird singing, not a moan, screem or anything. I can tell this will be a great day, jut hope that zed won't ruin it for me. Anyways I should be out by the afternoon, looks quite cold outside, maybe some rain aswell, my plan of action is to head first to the DIY store, it has most likely already been ransacked but I'm sure there will be something left… Continue

There has been a development! I have seen someone! I mean it was from quite a distance so it might have just been a zed but they didn't walk like zed, it was smooth and straight. If I see them again I will try to signal them, but only if I'm sure they are not zed. As with my stronghold, I've still got about another day's work to get out, I should have started a few days ago really while I still had some food but no point dwelling on the past. I hate the word zombie, the word itself makes me cringe in horror that, most likely humanity will never recover and then perish, that is why I call them zed, doesn't seem as apocalyptic, I have been in my home now for I would say for 4 or 5 years.
