ok recently ive been doing research on the possibility of there being a zombie apocalypse. but my research also has to do with extra terrestrials. there is this show called ancient aliens on the historry channel, and they were talking about how back in the 1500s there were reports of there being "flying crosses" in the sky and these flying crosses would supposedly have lights coming from these "crosses".and if another "cross" would get hit by the lights ther would fall to the earth.so what these people during that time period were witnessing a war between to types of extra terrestrials. during that same time period there were 2 diseases that have broken out . people have reported of there beng a human figure that wasnt human that would be waving around a stick with mist coming out of this stick. probably an extra terrestrial spreading one of the diseases around. what does this have to do with zombies? ill tell you why. also around that same time period people have reported there being "walking corpses" tht would attack people and if they were bitten they turned.what i think is during this war the aliens were testing a virus tht causes something similar to zombies but they only tested a small dose cause if they were to let the whole thing loose we wouldnt be here today.

Comment by Jericho Syndrome on December 1, 2011 at 5:51pm i would think so too, but then i saw Battlefield Earth and now i cant help but laugh.....
I doubt that if aliens were involved it was a mistake. Europeans did the same thing to native Americans with what they considered favorable results...the tribes have never truly recovered from what was done to them.
Comment by Jericho Syndrome on December 1, 2011 at 7:19am ignoring the 2012 crap, i can see that the only way aliens are involved is if they were actually quite stupid.
'oh look, we abducted a human, lets see if our Resurrection plan that works soooo well with us will work with them *testing goes wrong* hmm it developed a severe case of the munchies, quick lets just drop him off back on his planet and hope no one will notice'
and Clair, believe it or not you are waiting a significantly less time than other shows with mid season breaks...
Comment by Claire on December 1, 2011 at 12:43am Bruins gone clay pigeon shooting "PULL" BOOOOM! LMAO... I gathered that Adma was in fact awake at silly o'clock in the morning and slurring his typing : D -

There will be no zombie apocalypse in 2012. The Mayan Calendar, upon which the 2012 date was established, is simply the end of a cycle, not the end of the earth. Some translations of the glyphs on the tablet upon which all of this is based indicate that one of their gods will "descend from the sky", not ascend from the ground.
I am not going to blast ancient astronaut theory, I happen to believe that this is pretty likely in fact. What I don't believe is that we have an accurate method by which to interpret these glyphs. We have only enough for a bit of supposition and that is all.
Thirdly, if you want to make a compelling argument, I would like to suggest that someone proof read your material before you post it. Not only was this exceedingly difficult to follow because of several spelling mistakes, it essentially looks rushed and your conclusions are not well articulated.
As far as 2012 being "Bullshit" I disagree. The Mayan calendar was matched up against the current and accepted calendar based on the Mayan concept of time, not on the anglicized version of time. As an example, if one accepts that 4hrs equals one day and another group believes that 24hrs equals one day then all you are doing is creating a ration...in this case there are six cycles of one day to one cycle of another. Then you find a mutual number, a sort of common denominator...Mayans were farmers so in this case they chose an equinox since the equinox's were commonly observed worldwide. They then calculated the year and day based upon this common language...not by the death or birth of Christ or anything else like that. Early civilizations have always celebrated equinox festivals, that is the common language, the numbers were then translated to the Christian Calander.
just a little side note - ad as after death - means 30 or so years - the common understanding
i used that in my explination but if you use the Anno Domini Version of A.D. it takes the year disconect from 30-35 years to one year due to the lack of the year zero A.D. since after death is in the common thought it seemed logical - its also the one used in modern numerology - a further proof it is not possible.
Comment by Claire on November 30, 2011 at 5:33am ADAMS Explanation was EPIC LoL.. awesome!
As for the ancient aliens and viruses i can live with that theory! will be downloading the series for entertainment value if nothing else
anything 2012 is complete b.s. no matter what you believe, it is beyond doubt that its b.s. for one simple reason. The mayan calander what translated in to our calander - the gregorian - which is in turn based on the julian callender.... they screwed up when they converted the julian to gregorian.... but that just means a double leap year every 4k years or so no big deal but the julian calender is the calender of ancient rome. You see the Romans did not use b.c. why would they? they calculated their date from the founding of rome. The exact year wasnt important it was only important from the date of romes founding...... so it goes back only to a guess of roughly 500 b.c.exact year eludes me at the moment but meh this is the century they claimed rome was founded...... but thats a whole other story. If the Julian calander was roman (named after julius ceaser by the way - a way to honour him - romans did some weird stuff but thats also besides the point) the years in B.C. shouldnt exist... but they do .... why is that ..... Rome collapsed in A.D. so we should have an accurate count till arround 500 b.c =/ but we dont. When rome collapsed the system of days survived in the church - but the actual year was lost - they decided in the dark ages after the collapse of rome that they needed an exact year for the birth of christ...... so they did what they did - consulted the vulgate bible (latin bible) and figured out jesus's age at his death..... well thats a nice starting point - since all measurements of time are arbritary - but i digress and type poorly but its 3 am so what do you expect- well back to my narrative. When they tried to figure out what year it was since his death what did they do! they counted popes lifespans and papal names.. problem is one pope changed his name...... throwing the whoooole calculation off by 5 years....... so in the most basic sense 2012 happend 5 years ago......... sorry to burst your bubble.......... but wait theres more....... there is also a period of roughly 35 years between his birth and death............ not covered in A.D ( after death) or b.c. (before christ) sooooooooooo we're also off up to 35 years on top of the 5 caused by counting the popes wrong >< so no 2012 is bullshit......... there is no chance of it being on 2012 because correcting for the errors in just the christian era of calculations 2012 happend between 1972 and 1977!!!! so yeah. But wait theres more ....... archeological evidence says the whole 500 b.c timeframe for the foundation of rome is off too!! Rome could have been founded 200 - 400 years prior to that so if we take that as the basis then 2012 occured between 1372 and 1572!!!! any doomsday prediction on the past based on calanders and numerology is complete b.s because we DONT HAVE THE NUMBERS for one oh oh oh oh and lets not even get into the jewish or chinese calanders because 2012 would have occured several thousand years ago!!!! =/ so no there is no chance in hell because the date has long passed =D well this rambling mess of 3 am thought is complete :) oh and just to add something the end of the mayan calander doesn't mean the end of time ........ since mayan numbers are base 20 not base 10 like ours - it means move the place holder disk up one spot and start again at 1 =/ so the whole previous argument is not needed because nobody seems to know much about history outside of europe =/ and military history. =/
Comment by Full Choke on November 29, 2011 at 11:44pm I have no issue with the hypothesis of ET's and zombies but I can't take The History Channel seriously especially when they are not the most consistent group when it comes to presenting actual history.
