LZ has been rather dead the past several months. What happened? This place used to be so full and new stuff just flowed in, now its only got a few people on every now and then. I don't want LZ to die.

im agreeing with Michael. we have had stories, discussions and videos all pertaining to zombies, we even have a Role play site for zombies by just adding 'end of days' to the LZ search on google so instead of just focusing on one core theme for the site we need to give a broad scope into zombies...or wait until they get back into the boost of popularity in 2017....

It's everything you want it to be. You shouldn't limit things to just film making, you have everything about zombies. Sure, this site was about zombie filmaking when it started, but now it's about everthing zombie related. Take Comic-Con for example, it was all about comics in the beginning. Now it's about everthing: comic, anime, cartoon, etc.

I hear you guys.

I think the fundamental problem is not how to best promote the site but defining what the purpose of the site is. That may seem obvious, but it's actually not. This project has evolved. When I launched this site, I expected I might be able to get 50 to 100 filmmakers to sign up. We had over 500 people in the first 24 hours. I had to quickly change gears to respond to the community and how they were using the site. I didn't expect it would become a zombie social network. It's a lot of work to moderate and maintain a community of thousands.

So I pose the question to you guys... What do you want this to be? Is it about making a movie? Is it about social networking? Is it about sharing your work?

Comments are appreciated.

We should all take flyers with a link for LZ to any zombie movie premieres we go to. Josh and I have a link on the back window of our car. Along with a hand hanging out of the trunk. We get tons of people ask about it. Why don't some of your guys put the link along your back window with a window marker? Tons of people would see it!

I say the members need to advertise this more and more and add more content to offer such as zombie story series separated into weekly or monthly stories that keep people who are not fully dedicated still wanting to come back, also add your personal homemade zombie movies guys

Nah, I think I am. I sorta pushed the people who kept the site and chat lively to skype. And after that took off the site sorta dwindled. :/

I am partly to blame (a small part but a part none the less) because I forgot about this site! I used to be on here all the time but i got busy with my house and bam it just faded into the backround.

Well I remember they had all kinds of contests like making videos of "your first day in the zombie outbreak" or "your last video" they had picture contests. I think LZ needs to do more of this again and get the community involved again. also a few ideas maybe we can LZ National chapters (EX. Boston, Chicago, New York etc...) all over the country there are zombie obstacle courses, zombie races, Z pub crawls, Z painball/airsoft sceanario games and maybe certain chapters can participate in these events representing LZ.

Just a few ideas let me know what you guys think. Hope we get LZ back to its former glory!
