Nice, what I wouldn't do for a... never mind I think you know the answer. I think I'll use live bait, I found a group of stragglers next door and they are pretty feeble looking. Sorry I didn't reply too quick, I was kind of busy today. I had a cook-out of sorts with Molly today. We pulled some meat I had out of the deep-freeze and I grilled it up for us. We both ate until we were full (something neither one of us is used to doing) and laid out in the sun for a bit if you catch my drift. Oh, I just thought of something. You should try to capture one of the infected. The way I did it is by throwing some meat into the garage, which they went after right away. I killed off most of them but managed to get a chain around ones neck to hold it back. We should start experiments, to see what kills them naturally (other than fire of course.)

I don't normally use ranged weapons, I like to stick to melee weapons as a personal preference, knives, katana, bats, etc. Well I have to get going, this is around the time when they are most active around here.

Well he's not getting too much exercise so I wouldn't know too much about fatigue. Remember Night of the Living Dead? There's a little bit of truth there. You do need to aim for the head. Other than that, like you said, burning is the only other way to kill them.

I haven't seen an infected in days, and I don't want to run the risk of killing it too quick. Asphyxiation doesn't work either.

You'd never believe it. I heard breaking glass a few minutes ago, so I grabbed my machete and went outside looking for action. Do you know what I found? This chick, about our age by the looks of it, was trying to get into one of the houses I already got into. Her name's Molly, and she's going to be hanging with me for a while here. Oh right after I got your message I tried drowning it. Didn't work. I've not seen a dead infected in the water though. I think they're probably too sluggish to swim, or don't know how to.

Wow, I can't believe that you remember still. It's pretty quiet out here, not much of anything now that I think about it. It's funny I still have that trampoline in my yard, except now the fabric is gone and I use the metal ring as a burn pile marker. And while we are on that topic, runners don't die right away unless you cut off the head. I've shot one and it became a shambler after a few hours. BURN THE BODIES. That's all I have to say for tonight, I need to get some rest.

There was a massive evac. Too many people in the same area I guess. I've got a nice little place set up here, it already had plenty of canned goods in it. Well I'm the last person left alive in PC, there are constant drifters and scavengers though, some of them are very violent too. I've had to kill more people than anyone should imagine.
