In the beginning... In the beginning God created the Heaven and the Earth. And the earth was without form and void and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters...
Where is God now you ask? I don't know... Sure as Hell He ain't here now...

Who would have thought the headlines would ever read "The Dead Walk". I wonder what was going through the mind of the person that wrote that, the dead walk... I wonder if the person that wrote that is still alive... I don't think that matters anymore... The suns setting, it's time to move.

If it's one thing I've learned since this started, it's move at night and hide during the day. The darkness cuts visibility for me but it also helps hide my movements. The same routine every time, pick some cover, run for it, stay down and check if I've drawn attention and do it all over again. I get my sleep during the day, it's easier to see them coming and if I have to run I can see all my options clearly. This routine also works against the living as well, there are more survivors walking around then you think, some are worse then the dead... But that's another story.

Over hundred kilometres of hostile ground to cover, very little food, almost no water and an empty shotgun... Could be worse... Could also be better as well. Could be a little warmer, warmer would be good right now, it's so hot during the day that the air feels thinker, choked by the heat itself but night, night is the exact opposite. It's so cold at night that I couldn't get sleep if i wanted too, it does a good job of keeping me awake and alert. I have to make it back
to city... I have to make it home...

Don't go to the city! It's a trap!
Cool story though.
